12/29: Update. Problem fixed! Put the magnetic case through its paces the past couple of days. I tried to get the paint to scratch off the back, and it wouldn’t. So, it’s back to being in my opinion, the best case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max on the market. Also made for the “mini”, and perhaps the standard size as well. Either way, excellent case, excellent price, with fantastic customer service to boot.12/27: Update. The company got in touch with me and wanted to make things right. As it turns out, they had an initial run of 100 cases that had quality control issues with the paint chipping on the back of the case ring. Apparently, it’s been fixed. I have adjusted rating to 4 stars as their customer service is terrific. Very impressed! That said, I am going to test the case for the next day or two and see if in fact it’s been corrected as stated. Assuming that it is, I will adjust rating accordingly. Hopefully back to 5 stars. Remember, you’re buying this case because you don’t want to spend a crazy amount of money for Apple’s magnetic case. Also remember that this case has 2 huge advantages over the apple case. First, it has a raised lip over the camera. This is important. And I’m shocked that Apple dropped the ball on this one. Secondly, it covers the bottom completely. Again, as with many of their cases, Apple left their case bottom exposed. Can’t imagine why! Finally, the magnet. It’s just like Apple’s magnet. Very strong. Exactly what you want. Ok. I will update this review in the next day or two. Fingers crossed that the issue with the paint chipping has been resolved. The kindness and professionalism they showed... I suspect it is.12/24: Review Update. When I first received the case, it was SO much better than Apple’s case. Magnet was great. Raised lip over the camera. A month later, the paint has peeled off the back (see attached pic), where it’s embarrassing. Sure, I can return to Amazon and be done with it, but I would like the company to make it right. If I knew how to get in touch with them. Perhaps they had a bad batch initially and have improved them. Either way, I would definitely NOT buy this case until the company acknowledges the problem, and that they’ve corrected the issue.Not quite sure about the review ahead of me. Looks fake? Magnet weak? To be honest, I’m not seeing any of that. Magnet is strong with Apple MagSafe charger. It looks great. But more importantly, unlike the Apple case, this one actually protects the camera with its raised lip! Just buy it. You’ll love it. Btw, using the Pro Max magnet case.

I am hesitant to review this case because I know so little about Magsafe and how it is supposed to perform. The magnets on this are weak, but that may be by design and no fault of the product. Apple has very stringent specifications they will allow because if the magnets are too strong they can interfere with the camera. Let me describe the magnet strength in way all can relate to. The case with an iPhone 12 Pro Max in it will not stick to a steel painted refrigerator door that has magnets all over it. The phone will slide down the door at a speed that could cause damage to the phone. Not recommended. The case without the phone in it, will stick, but just barely. These are weak magnets, but again that might be by design and required by Apple.I have no idea how this will perform in impact incidents. The lip is slightly raised around the front and the same on the back. There is a higher lip around the camera which makes the phone not lie completely flat on its back. This is a design decision I am not going to argue with other than to say, I personally would prefer a phone that lays flat and protects the camera. This would require a larger lip on the back and make the case thicker, which some people may not like. I'm not going to argue with that design decision.Otherwise its a pretty nice case. I like the looks of it. I took a star off because the buttons are a little stiff for my liking. I switched from another clear case that didn't have Magsafe, that I think was better designed and easier to use buttons. I'm not taking any more than one star off this product because I do not know how Magsafe should perform.

This is my second one. The original finally did yellow, but it lasted 6 months to a year, and for the price point, it was worth it. Looks very nice until it eventually yellows, is sleek/low profile and slips into a pocket easily, but also has a little grip when handled. Appears to have good coverage/cushioning in case of drops, and I've never had any damage from the few times I've dropped mine. All buttons work fine and all ports/mics etc are accessible. Magnet works great for my phone wallet and induction charger.

I love this blasted thing!!! I have dropped my phone more times that I can count, and NO damage at all.Previous case has lasted THREE years!!! The back and the bumper disconnected from each other, but is still perfectly usable!The dark case on the left/middle is my original; the one on the right is the one I received today.

This is a pretty good case, MagSafe feature is good, seems like it protects pretty well. However there is one caveat, the cut out for the camera holes is funny, it’s closer to the lens on the right than the others. I had a lens protector over the camera lenses and I out on this case and as I put it on it cracked the protector. Now it fits without the protector, but other cars fit fine over the protector. I’m not sure if this case was Lego ally for the iPhone 12 Pro Max or not but it fits weird so caveat emptor.

My wallet feels much more secure on the back of this case. Also, it seems lighter. Not grippy like Apple's, but not as slippery as another well-regarded brand I tried (and it cost twice as much). There is a significant lip on the front and back of the phone to protect it meaningfully from drops. This is perhaps more attention than I need, as it sacrifices slimness and comfort to a degree, but it still feels less bulky than Apple's case. Buttons work just fine. For the price, it's hard not to recommend this, unless you are more focused on absolutely slimness (concerned more about avoiding scuffs than damage from a drop, for example). Assuming this thing holds up well and protects as well as it seems meant to, I'd definitely buy it again when I beat this one up sufficiently.

Complete let down, great case but is NOT anti-yellow!Delivered 28 Apr 2021 and we are now in August 2021! Yet to hear from supplierAVOID AVOID AVOID and purchase somewhere else!

It’s very low quality. You can find plastic bubbles inside and outside. How can I return this?
