Rugged and dependable
Once I was promoted and assigned to S3 NCO (Operations and Training NCO for the pogues) I searched for a proper laptop case. It had to accomodate my Dell XPS laptop, training materials, handouts, software, external mouse and other accessories. First, there is a padded sleeve with a carrying handle for your laptop and fits inside the appointed slot of the bag. For extra protection, there is a hardened bottom. There is ample room for materials and it is expandable with the side straps that allowed me to carry two one inch thick Field Manuals and twenty 118 page OPORDERS for handouts. In addition, I hade CDs and other materials in the attache portion of the bag. Depending on the dimensions of your laptop, you can also fit a one inch binder in the laptop section of the bag. The three removable molle pouches are useful for additional cabling and my external mouse and 10 key keyboard. I also used one pouch for a two meter radio and extra batteries. The carrying handle is rugged, but I used the shoulder strap most of the time. We are regularly deployed in the field and there is always other gear to carry which makes the shoulder strap very useful. There is a velcro strip that allows you to place a name tape on the front of the upper flap. Inside the attache portion, there are dividers for business cards, writing supplies, and additional pockets. The only drawback that I found was that the upper flap hold down straps fasten right behind and between the removable pouches. The pouches get in the way of fastening these straps.Unfortunately, I have since purchased an Alienware M17r2 laptop and it is too big for this particular bag. I purchased the Alienware bag for the laptop and it is just big enough for the laptop. It was leather and more expensive, but does not protect the laptop as well as the Code Alpha bag listed here. If it would have fit, I would have used the Code Alpha bag instead of the recommended Alienware one.If you have to transport a laptop and multiple books or large amounts of paperwork, then I would suggest getting what is known as the "large mechanics bag" which you can get in ACU pattern and I used it prior to getting this one. It will protect your laptop and has additional side pockets for extra gear (very roomy). I use all three when we have to set up a TOC in the field.

Great bag.
Great bag, especially at this price. I love bags. Can't have too many. I work out of my vehicle and purchased this for all my "front seat stuff" such as notebooks, paper, pens flashlights etc. It has three spacious large compartments, and three smaller ones on the outside. There is also a removable padded laptop bag. The carry handle is rounded plastic of some sort and sturdy with a removable shoulder strap. The side straps allow you to cinch in thinner if you wish.

At first I was worried but the Military Luggage Company came through!!
**At first I was worried, they sent this messenger bag without the nametape velcro. After talking to their customer support in a very brief and timeley manner, they quickly rectified the situation and sent me another bag with the nametape velcro. Could not be happier with Military Luggage, they are the best supplier for this computer bag. **As for the quality of the bag, there is a reason I have the ACU version as well. These bags last and can go through hell while keeping stuff safe. Not pelican case type safe but the added padding inside absolutely helps. I normally take the three front puches off which gives it a smaller profile.Just a small tip for Active Duty, treat this as a brief case and don't walk around with it slung on you.

Four Stars
Good sturdy bag. Good outside pocket space, bit space inside is a little tight.

Most practical
I use this as my brief case for work. Have had a few compliments regarding the amount of pockets. This carries everything I need including a full size rain coat with no issue. Not sure if I should be carrying all of that weight around but the bag does it in style with space in reserve. Even with all of the weight every day, it still looks new and no issues with the straps or material at the streets points.

Perfect electronic go bag
I bought this bag for the sole purpose of throwing my laptop in it and going. It has more than enough pockets to store everything you need for ALL your electronics. From charging cords and power supply's. To the heavy padded pouche for my laptop. I have was even able to get a Trackball and controller in the bag. All and all I would highly recommend this bag.

Really like this messenger bag!
So with this messenger bag I can fit my Lenovo p15 gen2 laptop machine in this bag! Also to mention that I can fit the same machine in a sleeve with handle and strap inside side this bag as well..
