Intertape RG-300/WI07560 RG-300 Utility Grade Filament Strapping Tape: 3/4" x 60 yd., White

I use strapping/filament tape for really heavy packages. In this case I needed to ship a 25 pound desktop computer, plus its keyboard, mouse, and cords. I was using a huge scavenged flat-screen TV set box that had to be cut down to the proper size; so strength was important because I was essentially rebuilding one end of the box. Because of the size and challenge of the task, I decided to order a decent amount of strapping tape, even though it's as a rule expensive, since I didn't want to be tempted to skimp. Although the Intertape brand had no reviews, I noticed that they seem to basically "do" tape; it's what they produce; also they sell it in large quantities and it seems to be their specialty. So I thought I would give it a shot, since the price was a fair bit better than the familiar brands, if you bought more than one roll.The tape is excellent. The filiments are tough and fibrous (which is good), the tape is sticky in the right sort of way, and the box made it across the country via UPS just fine. Dealing with the tape was a pleasure since it was less likely than some I've used to split lengthwise. It came in a box that was just the right size; that is, no monster box with a little item inside. And, as a bonus, it's made in the U.S.A. I will be ordering more of this tape, although not immediately, since I purchased two nice fat rolls and still have a decent amount left.

Terrible quality. Could not peel off more than a couple inches before the tape began to de-laminate and come apart.Tried numerous times, thinking maybe just the top layer was dried out or bad, but it seemed to get worse as I tried to use more of it.Avoid this completely

This is not the strongest filament tape--it has fewer filament fibers in it than others I've used. I use this when putting clear protectors on paper book covers for my library system. Still, it works just fine so far.I use it regularly. I wouldn't get this next time, though--I want something stronger.

This is just the right width for me

Perfect when shipping items that require to be boxed. Tape secures the package with no worries!

I didn't notice that this product was 1/3 the price of the "name brand" tape. Unfortunately, it isn't even one third as good. As it's unwound, adhesive, as well as actual strands, from the sticky side stick to the smooth side, creating holes in the tape and rendering it virtually useless. (see my images) Not worth the trouble to return it, but it is GARBAGE!!

Does it work? YesWas the pricing reasonable for what you will receive? NoThis tape is thinner than quality name brand tape. The glue used works, but doesn’t have the same feel as the quality leading brand.Overall: would be able to recommend at a much lower price. Perhaps best to be sold as an ‘add on’ product only?
