What is the return policy on this item ?

Not too good, been waiting on a replacement pair for a couple of months now and still haven't received them or no communication other than first email.

What's the % of light that goes thru the lens

been trying it at dusk, not a swarovski but good enough, with low light can identify owls easly

I am wondering how well these will work in extreme cold temperatures, below 20 degrees F?

Probably work better than you will- seriously, it doesn't get that cold very often in Austin (it has in the last month). These binoculars seem pretty similar to my old Nikon 10x42's that quit focusing after I left them out in the sun a couple of months ago. I've been outside some recently when its pretty cold, no problems. The Nikon description said the Nikons were waterproof, these don't say. But visually they seem to be about the same at 1/3 the price.

Are these fairly lightweight? I’m looking for a pair to take traveling via airplane etc and don’t want to be weighed down
