Would this fit for an mk7 golf r? seeing if anyone has used this for one.

It’s not very large and has multiple mount holes so it should not be difficult, bigger issue is WHERE to locate the cooler.

What's the actual thread type and size on the cooler if you remove the -10AN fitting?

The threaded pitch is AN10. That is the size. AN fittings aren’t like a NPT size where you can get a 3/8NPT thread pitch. AN fittings are made to seal as you tighten the threads, that is why telfon tape is not needed either. Also these fittings on the cooler are not removable unless you can TIG weld
