FuryFuryMold Black Cordura Sheath (Fits Most 4 7/8-Inch to 5.75-Inch Folding Knives)

The belt loops tore off of my belt after I bumped somewhat firmly into a heavy table. Was glad I was at home and didn't have to carry it all in my pocket until I could fix the loops. This is why it loses a star.That said, the body of the sheath is very durable. I bought the same sheath more than five years ago, and though I also had to replace the straps on that one as well, After I fixed it it has help up to years of punishment and hard use. Only replaced the original because it was looking used and ratty, not because it has fallen apart.I'll probably buy one again in five more years so I can fix it get five more years out of that one.

I bought it to hold the box cutters and now I see it's way to big! It is what it was advertised!

Do not hold up very well, but then didn't cost much.

When I first got this, I really wanted to only give it three stars, due to the thin straps that many of us seem to be whining about. The rest of the knife sheath is very well built, but the straps just looked like crap. As it turned out, I goofed and ordered a sheath way bigger than I needed.But, guess what? My Springfield XD's 13 round 45 ACP magazines fit the thing perfectly. I've never carried the 13 rounders as spares because they're just plain too shtinking big. When I put this sheath on my belt horizontally, it just worked. I figured most likely, since horizontal uses two straps, they wouldn't both break at the same time and I wouldn't loose anything.So, here the thing is, carrying much more weight than it was designed for as a knife sheath, and those cheesy straps haven't torn or stretched in the slightest. It's working great, doing a harder job than it was designed for, in spite of the straps. Gotta love that.

I was stunned that the manufacturer of this product made the same dumb mistake that others make by not making the belt loop strap reinforced and double stitched. Absolutely a bone-headed mistake to make with this type of material. My sheath strap is already half torn off the sheath. As for the Sheath itself, it is well made, but the loop strap was cheaply made, hence, it tears with ease from the Sheath cover. I am really disappointed with this. Again, the sheath is nicely made, but what good is it if you cannot attach it to your belt?

it's not perfect but it's a good fit for the EL-01A.i cannot comment on the belt loop since i don't carry my knives at the waist. but it will surely provide the knife with good protection from drops and rubbing with other items insides bags, backpacks and toolboxes.

Bigger than thought or needed!

This knife sheath seems to be very well built. I will give it five stars if it lasts as long as think it will.

It arrived in good time and great shape. But having worn it for about 3 days, the belt loop on the back tore out. It is now useless unless I can restitch to the back. Poor quality and cutting corners on the fabric makes this sheath fail the test.

I have a Schrade 5" LB7 lockback that I have tried at various times to get a new nylon sheath for. Amazon kept track of my various searches and emailed me that this unit was available. I ordered it without looking at the comments.... big mistake! My knife is part of my everyday carry. I had it rip off my belt while getting up from a movie theater seat 5 days after it arrived. Very disappointing. Because of the poor construction (single stitching) I am just returning it as I do not believe a replacement will fare any better.

After about three weeks of wearing this sheath, the belt loop broke. I then changed the position of the sheath, and the other belt loop broke after a week. If you're moving around a lot or expect heavy use of this sheath, I might recommend another one.

Mine broke the 2nd day at home. I would've been VERY ANGRY if I lost a $ 200.00 knife away from home from a cheap piece of C**p holster. I got my custom leather one today, I should have waited and saved the 5 bucks. As someone else said it costs too much to return it. I now have learned to read reviews of cheap products too, good luck if you buy this!

It's not really for a4.75 inch folding knife as leaves a very unpleasant looking emptiness when snapped closed for 5 inch folded knifes. If going to fit varied knife sizes it should have a n extra snap for the smaller 4.75 folded knifes.stay away from this product as i my self will probably not use it and for sure tell others to stay away from brand
