I LIKE THIS DISPENSER IT DOES WHAT IT SUPPOSED TO WITHOUT DRIPS. MY KIDS USED IT TO MAKE MUFFINS SUPER EASY NO MESS (ALWAYS A BONUS) OUR NEIGHBOURS BORROWED IT FOR A BIG GATHERING AT THE CHURCH THEY FED 200 PEOPLE IN NO TIME AT ALL WITH THE SAME SIZE PANCAKES FOR EVERYONE. EASY TO CLEAN. MY NEIGHBOURS LOVED IT THEY WILL BE BUYING ONE THEMSELVES NOW. GREAT BUY.

I bought 3 plastic batter dispensers that broke within a few months. I thought this metal/plastic one would be the thing. It worked really great for 18 months. It was used twice a month and gently hand washed every time. Today it broke while use and since a few plastic bits fell into the batter, I had to dump the batch lest someone break a tooth or swallow the plastic. Now the item is out of stock. I would like a replacement part if possible. Bummed. I really liked using this dispenser. No drips and easy to control.

The handle assembly which holds the plunger is supposed to lock into the sides of the container so the plunger will go up and down straight. Since it won't lock into the tiny plastic tabs made for that purpose, whenever you push the lever on the handle the plunger goes sideways and won't close. The plunger will also only open to maybe a 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch. That is not sufficient for a thick batter.

We absolutely love this product! SO much better and nicer than the plastic one I used to have. It is very easy to use my husband even uses it on the grill. This definitely doesn’t leak it even held water! I put it in the dishwasher cleaned up lovely. Great quality glad we bought the stainless steel one! We highly recommend this product.

If and when one uses a mix at the right "pour-ability", it works very well. I tend to use a thicker mixture which does not work well at all. In fact, it does not work for me. BUT! Others who have used it, have had zero problems, as they seem to get the right thickness every time. If it were not for me. the rating would be a 5, but my needs are are too often thwarted.

I'm a believer in what I have termed ECONOMY OF MOTION! This product requires pancake batter to be mixed in a separate bowl and poured into the dispenser, which for me is not what I'm looking for. When dispensing, the batter it has to be quite fluid and I prefer thicker pancakes. This product is not for me!!!

I found this wasn't the product that I thought it was, it doesn't open well for putting the pancakes down, and doesn't close tight enough to stop dripping

I was not impressed. Still easier and less mess to use a spoon.
