This Stainless steel rod set arrived on time and was exactly as described. It worked perfectly with some 8mm stainless steel couplings I had also ordered. They seem to be of very high quality. I was very pleased with these products.

I had an unusual use for one of these rods. I used washers and drilled holes in the end for "hair pins." I drilled through our outdoor table frame, through the outdoor umbrella post and back through the table frame in a straight line. This new rod goes through the hole I drilled to hold the umbrella from blowing up and away like umbrellas have done in the past.

Works for my cnc 3018 pro machine

The rod material appears to be fine, but the ends of the rods are apparently ground by hand with no concern for flatness, heat, or quality of any kind. There are still some sharp edges that did not get rounded off. The dark purple color is indicative of too much generated heat. The ends are ground at 1 or more angles and none of the ends were even close to straight. If you buy these then be aware you will have to clean up the ends to fix the former careless cleanup attempt.

The rails are smooth, straight, and a constant diameter. However, they are not cut to precise lengths. The nominal length of the rails I ordered was 250 mm, but one rail is 251 mm and the other is 252 mm.

I use these rods in my 3d print projects to provide smooth linear motion. Even with printed bearings they provide smooth movement.

Very smooth linear rails along the length of the rails. I have high standards for precision and this is a quality product. They definitely deserve the 5 star rating.
