Directions
For cafetiéres try one heaped dessert spoon of coffee per cup, add hot water (just of the boil) and use a little water to evenly coat the grounds. To up the water, stir, leave for 4 minutes, then plunge & enjoy.

RUINED
I do wish manufacturers would stop spoiling good products This used to be one of the best coffees on the market for flavour and price. Sadly, not any more. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the change to the pack design (alarm bells went off). I should have known this change meant things could only get worse, and I was right. I made my coffee, hoping I was wrong. No! They have totally ruined this coffee. It tastes like mud. All that lovely flavour is gone. I really wish they would stop messing with things that don't need to be messed with. I won't be buying this coffee again

Can really taste the Espresso even in a Latte
This Espresso ground Coffee has a lovely powdery chocolatey flavour (like licking the outside of a rich chocolate truffle coated in dark cocoa powder!) and a pleasant aftertaste. What I really like about it though is that you can really taste the Espresso flavour even through a milky Latte. The Espresso Puritans would probably tell me not to ruin a delicious double espresso with half a mug of steamed milk but I love milky Lattes but that doesn't mean I want to lose the strong Espresso flavour in the milk. I really like it.It's not super cheap if you're looking for bog standard supermarket ground coffee but it is still half the price of some "artisan" brands, especially on subscribe and save, so I think it is good value for money given the quality and fair trade standardsThe only negative thing I almost forgot to mention is that the product comparison says the pack is resealable but it just seems like a standard pack of coffee to me

It is what it says on the packet!! Dark & intense!!
As a morning pick me up it is second to none!! We just love the dark, rich intensity of this coffee which has a slightly sweet, almost cocoa flavour that seems to drift up on the palate as an afterthought!! Searched long and hard for the right coffee for us and have settled very happily on this - I just hope its popular enough not to be discontinued - don’t fancy starting the search again??!!

Excellent
This is now my fourth order of this coffee. I love it, but no longer sold in my local shops. Can’t live without a latte first thing in the morning and this brand of coffee is my favourite after many years of testing. Unless you want to buy an expensive coffee machine, this is the best for home use. No problem with the seller. Good price, but would pay any price for something I like. It’s my one luxury. Good service. Good delivery time. No complaints and will be buying regularly. Reposting this as bought again. Still love the coffee. No complaints about seller. Still good value when a lot of food prices are going up.

Disappointing
I bought this as a box of five packets, and also an Aeropress. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Aeropress. I tried the coffee and followed the instructions for using the Aeropress. The coffee was bitter and tasteless. I tried using more coffee and various brewing techniques, but the coffee is still just bitter and without any noticeable flavour. I am only on my first bag, so I cannot yet tell if it is just this particular bag; the whole batch; or this coffee in general.You get a lot of coffee for your money, but if it consistently tastes like this, then it’s not really worth it.

Great tasting coffee every time
Cannot fault this coffee or the delivery. Excellent tasting coffee every time we use it. We had to use a different make the other week and boy did we notice the difference, now back on with Cafe' direct. Great quality and consistency every time. Price is the same or a few pence different at out local Sainsbury but getting it delivered to your door is so much more convenient and with this batch I even save a few bob.

Bitter and sour taste
To start with I got the wrong coffee, not as advertised. But decided to give it a try - extremely weak, no Christmas's flavour at all (ordered Xmas coffee with milk chocolate and cherry notes, received dark chocolate and spices) - it tastes like cheapest own brand coffee from the lowest shelf, no flavour of anything to it other than basic bitter-soury taste.

Okay Coffee
I have to say it's not got the 'boom factor' I was expecting for a 5 star strength coffee. More like a 3 to 4. Very pale in colour. Nice taste though and very drinkable. Just needs down rating for strength and it's overly expensive.
