This system is great especially if you have an older garage opener. Our garage door openers were installed in 2003 and it was compatible. Make sure you check before your purchase, but it seems to cover quite a few systems. It was pretty straight forward install for most DIY people out there. We love the app and the ability to close it from the app. Especially like the available schedule built into the app. We were waking up in the morning once and a while only to find we left the garage door open all night long. Now we have ours set to close automatically at 9 pm, haven't left the garage door open since we got it! No more asking your other half if they closed the garage door after you went to bed and then having to get up and go check. You can just bring up the app to check the status. It also gives alerts if selected on the app as to when it opens and closes. You can open and close the doors from anywhere.

I have a new teen driver in the house who often forgets to close the garage. This was shockingly cheap for what it promised. It has delivered and I'm thrilled I bought it. It alerts me if the garage has been open for more than 5 minutes. Which I love! I used the Amazon delivery feature (by accident) today and it also worked great. Package was left just inside the garage door. Worked out nice with it snowing today. I've had it for a month now and haven't had any issues. Was a little difficult to sync with my opener but eventually(maybe 20 min) I got it. Other than that it was easy to install. I also got the second sensor for the other garage door. It works great as well. **Unsure why the features asked me to rate picture quality and night vision, that is not a feature of this device

I still can’t believe that this kit was actually able to retrofit my 15-year old garage door opener to work via a phone app over the Internet. Setup is a little elaborate, but the MyQ app does walk you through all the steps with easy-to-follow on-screen instructions. The only white-knuckle moment occurred at the very end of the process when it was time to pair the door sensor with the opener, but it worked on the second try. Now I can open the garage door from anywhere my phone can access the internet, via cell or WiFi. The app also shows if the door is open or closed - no more driving back to check that I actually did lower the door before leaving the house. At only $30, this kit was an incredible bargain. I like it so much that I bought a second (open box) sensor for the second garage door. (One hub can operate multiple sensors.) My only complaint is that Chamberlain just had to lard up the app with ads. Every time you open the app, you’re treated to a large, distracting display ad. Couldn’t they leave well enough alone?

This works great if you don’t have a smart garage door opener. It is compatible with most garage door openers, but just double check. Very easy to install.

These are incredibly simple to set up and work flawlessly with my chamberlain garage door openers. Easy integration with phone. Really like it. So why four stars? Well, no integration with siri. Who wants to be fiddling around with the phone to open and close the door. Hey Siri, open my garage door is what most folks would want. But that capability is not available which makes this a great product that was rendered somewhat lame. Because of that design decision. Never these I have two for my three garage doors. Would also be a bit better if one module could control more than two sensors. All in all, it works but I still am a little tweaked that I need to push the buttons on the screen instead of Siri taking care of that

This has been a great addition to my Genie garage door openers. I have two garage doors, so I added a sensor module. I should note that this system is not as flawless as an opener with myQ built-in; there's a little extra delay. This system also has a problem if I try to open/close more than one door at a time. The second door can't connect unless the first door is completely done moving and the app has updated to reflect its state. If I hit the second door's in-app button just a smidge too soon, the app will get stuck and time out. Still, it's a great addition for $30.

Love this! It is so convenient being able to control the garage doors from my phone. I like having the added security of seeing the history to know who has opened or closed the garage doors and when. The installation was extremely easy and it works with my current garage door system. Great quality product!

We have bears in the area and they know how to empty a garage refrigerator when a garage door is left open at night. I was given one set (controller and sensor) as a gift. I installed it and tested it. I initially had difficulty connecting to my wifi, but the excellent online help showed what to do step by step. After everything was working on the first garage door, I ordered and installed a sensor for the 2nd door. I like the fact that one controller can accommodate 2 door sensors. I also like the beeping and flashing lights in the controller before it begins to auto close.

Very easy to install. Pairing with a compatible opener was very fast and simple. Response time from pressing the open and close buttons in the MyQ or other compatible app is immediate -- which is great since I've read other similar units have a significant delay. My only relatively minor complains are that a) the unit can only be paired with one application, so for example we can't pair it with both they MyQ app and our Smarthome/security system app -- only one or the other, and b) if trying to send a close or open commands to two doors at the same time it does not work. There has to be at least a few seconds of delay between the two commands. But these are manageable problems. Note that it does *not* support z-wave, so if your home uses z-wave extensively you may wish to consider another unit. The unit connects via Wifi so you must have good Wifi coverage in your garage.

I love this product. This made my garage doors accessible by my Bluetooth device i.e. my phone. The set up was pretty easy and this allows me to open my garage doors remotely from anywhere.

This is basically a traditional garage door opener that can be paired with your garage door motor and then controlled by your phone. That is it. It's so simple and yet so brilliant. You don't have to worry about any wires. Plug in the base unit, pair it with your garage door motor (installed in the ceiling), place the door sensor on the garage door and you are done. Works flawlessly every time. If you need to control the second door, just buy another door sensor and pair it with the base unit. The compatibility list here is quite significant so you should be good to go.

Pros; easy installation and it works as described Cons: failed once when outside tried to close the door. The problem showed that closing the door manually needed for reset. Will be a serious problem if far away from home. For Tesla connections, failed several time couldn’t close the door when you drove away. And the subscription fee is so high.
