Amazing Grass Green Superfood Detox Effervescent, Lemon and Lime, 420 g

Taste is decent (not exactly super-sweet or tasty like Kool-Aid or similar), but if you can get passed the not-so-sweet taste of it, then you *will* feel some energy, as it definitely gave me a strong boost of energy within an hour or so of drinking it, and hence it became a staple part of my "daily drive", as it'd pour a scoop or two into a cold bottle of water, shake it up, and then sip it on my way to work, and pretty much have that positive boost / energy in me by the time I get into the office (no jitters, no headaches, just a strong feeling of being awake). Would suggest limiting your use of this product to 1-2 times a day, as the initial effects of drinking it may send you to the bathroom a few more times than usual, since all the healthy greens in the product kinda flush out your system a few times until your body is used to it (think of "drain-o" for yo' booty! definitely cleans ya out).

For providing the nutrition this product provides through grasses and algae, it has a nice pleasant taste. I have tried the original blend in both berry and chocolate and prefer the lemon-lime flavor but that could be a personal thing, the others are pleasant as well. I use it in the morning instead of a cup of coffee and actually add a little more spirlina to it. Using these superfine powders can be a challenge and I don't want to fuss with making a shake early morning. What works for me is using a thermal coffee cup with a solid lid, fill it about a quarter with water, add the powder, add more water to 3/4, then add a few ice cubes, make sure the lid is seated and opening is super secure and shake it up. The cubes work to mix it as they melt, if it sits for a period of time, close the opening and shake it up again. You might want to try it over a sink the first few times. Like the larger size, as well.

I love this stuff! Ya the taste isn't all that great, but it isn't awful either. I put it in my water bottle and just keep adding water to it as the day goes on until it's done. I definitely have more energy with this and I noticed a difference the first day. Plus it's helped with some GI issues which was an added benefit.

I've been using this product for a few years now. It not only gives me energy but a mental clarity that coffee and meds cannot match (without leaving you jittery and weird feeling). I personally find it palatable with just water, but it is especially good mixed with lemonade or a very fruity smoothie. I really swear by this product and I know its giving me an amazing amount of nutrients that I otherwise probably wouldn't consume on a day-to-day basis.

This product is amazing! A staple ok my diet. I have been taken at least 3 servings of it it nearly everyday since I started in 2012! Definitely a far better alternative to coffee to jump start your whole day! This year I've even found my mood improve after talkng it!
