Good glow to this thread
Good glow to this thread, even after it's sewn. The blue is the dimmest of colors on the spool, but it's also the darkest to begin with. The picture of the sewn embroidery was taken using a black light. The tee shirt material is dark slate gray and the non-illuminated glow in the dark thread is orange when in regular light.edit: Sept 22nd 2017 - adding photos of other projects. Patterns are from Urban Threads website. Some patterns are very thick ("Literary Magic"; the pumpkin) while others are simpler line sewing ("Dance Macabre" skeletons). This thread works best when you have a machine that can slow down the sewing speed. I have a Brother 780D (twin to the Brother 770) that I use for glow and metallic threads. The Babylock ESE2 and Brother 8500 I own can sew these threads, but will end up with a lot of breakage due to a lack of slow sewing option on those 2 models. There are videos on youtube on how to slow down the Brother 770/780D machine speed (650 ---> 350). Near zero breakage when running the machine slow. There is very little breakage when running at the full 650RPMs, but it needs to be watched vigilantly.

Plenty of thread - Great Quality
I used the green to embroider a FSL Skeleton with about 150,000 stitches. It was enough for the top stitching and for 5 bobbins to match. I actually had thread left on the spool and about half of my last bobbin at the end of the project, so I'm very pleased. I had ordered 2 sets of the thread, to insure I had enough, but could have gotten away with one and I still have the other colors to try. The colors are as shown. I haven't tried putting them in the sun yet to "charge" for the glow in dark effect -- it's been a bit gloomy the last couple days. I'm hoping it works as described. So far, though, very pleased. I had no thread breaks or shredding while stitching so the thread seems to be of a good quality. I used a new top stitch needle and cleaned my machine before starting.

Do NOT waste your money
I was so disappointed with these! I wanted so badly to use glow in the dark thread but unfortunately this product was terrible. I tried every single color thinking perhaps it was just one spool that was the problem but no all of them were terrible quality. Every single spool constantly broke while trying to embroider.. I tried on every needle position (I have a 10 needle) without success. I waited a long time to post, hoping if I tried a thread conditioner, it would help but it did not. After changing tension, changing needles, trying all 5 spools and even conditioning the thread...I basically have 5 small paperweights sitting on my sewing shelf. Very unhappy with the terribly quality of these.

Wanted to use for bracelets
I have wanted to make some bracelets using glow-in-the-dark material. This was the best option I could find. Although they are not small like sewing machine spools, the thread is much thinner than I wanted. Not sure they glow that much but they have just been sitting in the bag waiting for me to try to use them. I got exactly what was described they just might not work for my purpose.

Great thread, nice quality, shines Bright.
AMAZING. There was a couple of colors I did in regular embroidery thread, so the glow is very obvious. I recommend this thread. I had no problems in my machine either.

Thread fine, spools too large
Have only used the white so far, but it worked fine and does glow in the dark even though I could not put it out in the sun as some reviewers said as necessary because it has been cloudy all day. The only thing that bothers me about this thread is the huge spools it is wound on. Don't know why they chose to put it on such huge spools since there is not even 1000 meters of thread as many much, much smaller spools contain. The drawback of the huge spools for me is that the thread well on my Janome 15000 embroidery machine is not large enough to accommodate spools this large. Luckily, I purchased a stand alone stand to use with my large spools of bobbin thread, so I was able to use it and it worked fine.

This is not embroidery thread. It is way too thick.
This product did not work on my embroidery machine. It would require a specially digitized design for thick threads. It made a mess of a satin stitch and broke every few stitches. Embroidery thread should be 60 weight. I don't know what this was but it was at least 40 weight.

I really like the white and blue glow
Blue has the deepest green glow. Green and yellow are a similar glow color. The white is the brightest, still a green hue. I really like the white and blue glow. Pink has definite pink glow. The spools I received are not very consistent in amount. My green could have about half as much thread as the others. I will use it, but wish the one spool had as much thread on it like the others. Could be just a bad one out of many but the blue seems to have less than the others as well, but not near as low as the green one I got.
