This gave incorrect readings, showing temperature as consistently low and when compared with others it was shown to be giving false readings.

Identical to sellers information
I use the non contact thermometer, this one is used as a back up which I know medical practitioners prefer, but I find one ear can read one temp and the other reads another. Which shouldn't happen when reading the core body temp. This is used as a back up for reading etc. It's good, you need covers to use with this, which can work out as expensive as its one cover per person.Its identical to sellers information.
