Just installed it today and drove around for a few hours. Really good fit. Installation took me about 45 minutes. Very straight forward. Materials are all high quality. Finish is good. It either made it quieter or it quieted some of the frequencies that are most obnoxious. It rolls up tight and compact. It doesn't have a lock but when the tail gate is locked you can't open it. I think a real dedicated thief could get through, but it will stop those looking for just an easy target. Overall super happy.

This is my second BAKFlip hard cover. Had one on my GMC which was destroyed by a falling tree during a tornado passage. After replacing the vehicle I purchased this one from Amazon and installed myself on my new Ford. This one is better and lighter than the original model. Fairly water resistant, but water from a driving rain creeps in from the tailgate area and a little on the sides. If you are carrying something than should not get wet you might consider keeping a trap as extra protection as I do. The best thing about any type of cover for your truck bed, is that once the bed is covered whatever is under the cover is out of sight and out mind. So those tempted to "take what they see" is avoided. The advantage of a sectional hard cover vs a solid or soft cover is the ability to access the full bed easily and lock it closed when the tail gate is up. This cover I found easy to install by myself in about an 1.5 hours. Watch a video, once you figure out how to mount the rails and where to run the water drain tubes it is very easy. My other cover was on my GMC for 10 years and it held up so I am expecting this one to perform similarly.

Absolutely awesome tonneau cover for my 2016 ford f150 5.5' bed. Installing it was a breeze and very straight forward I highly recommend this tonneau cover to anyone thinking about buying one. Keeps everything in my bed nice and dry. Important note is when installing the bed rail clamps, you really have to lock in the clamps into the rail channel so when tightening it up it pushes the rail upward so when closing the tonneau cover it locks in perfect. Fits perfect on my truck and for the price of this cover it's well worth it.

I was looking for a hard/rigid leak proof cover that didn't take up the interior bed space and this was it. The install went smoothly with two people. The minor adjustments were a little simpler. Install time took approximately 30mins to get it in place and another 15-20 to fine tune and tweak the corners. I highly recommend adjusting the vertical level (trim) at the tailgate to ensure a good seal and prevent leaks along the length of the bed. I did notice some minor leaking along the tailgate corners but was easily solved by adding some of the sealant tape that came in the box. The metal edges (where they come over the tailgate) are sharp and can rub on the finish of the gate. It is recommended to file that down to knock the sharp edge off as well. When rolling the cover up, the straps are secure, and the covers stays put. The "rubber bumpers" included are held on with 3M tape and will come lose. I have lost 1 of the 4 at this point, but seeing as how it won't hit the glass, I'm not terribly upset. When rolling down to secure the covers shut, do make sure that nothing is above the cover, or it will jump the track and not secure. Overall, great cover, easy to install, looks good, and meets the requirements.

Had to get a new Back Flip when I got my new truck. Wouldn't go without one. Lightweight but strong panels. Easy to install. Wherever I go my cargo is safe, secure, and out-of-sight.

Leaks in all 4 corners! Leaks at drains! Leaks at bulk head. Custom service Nightmare! BAK Industries only wants to communicate by email even though I requested phone communicate only. They ask for small pieces of information one email at at time and then take days to respond. 1st email asked for purchase date and my contact info, I provided requested information. 3 days later they requested the bedcover model and my truck model, I responded with requested information. 3 days later they requested Amazon invoice and pictures, again I provided the information. I called multiple times to seek answers and possible solutions, still giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was an install issue. The only solution that was offered was for them to ship new seals that I would have to uninstall the bed cover, disassemble bed cover, install new seals and reinstall the bed cover. Or add silicone to the leaks and fill the gaps where sunlight was shining through. So after 4+ weeks they requested video of me testing with the hose to determine what parts to send me so I could then waste more time fixing it myself, spent the time to video the 10+ leaks. The 10 plus videos (20 seconds each)were too large to send so asked if there was another way? BAK requested that I waste more time editing videos. At that time I decided I would rather waste my time writing this review and packaging this junk for return instead. I can purchase an other alternative brand junk leaky bed cover for less than half the price. Don't waste your time or money!

Super easy install great instructions looks awesome and the function is killer.

To set the stage for why this cover is so great... I previously had a different tonnaeu cover that was a folding one that had 4 panels / 3 folds. To fold it back required me to undo two clamps at the back, secure the clamps, fold it two times, unclamp two clamps at the middle on each side of the truck (requiring me to go around the truck or have a second set of hands), and then fold again... it was a pain in the butt, and the rear clamps would often disengage at the slightest brush or bump so it wasn't uncommon to see a corner flapping in the wind. My girlfriend absolutely hated the old cover, particularly whenever we'd require folding it to get at stuff that was shifted to the front side of the bed. So I bit the bullet for the Revolver X4s, a bit pricier than I wanted to spend but I'd seen another truck owner with the similar X2 and I decided it was the cover I wanted as it hit all the checkmarks. It's exactly as advertised. It's solid, and I feel it's more secure and secures my stuff in my truck bed better than the old vinyl cover. It's easy, I can open and close it entirely myself with one hand, and it makes it so much easier to access the full contents of the truck bed. It's beautiful and goes very well with the truck. I definitely would recommend to anyone else looking for a cover.
