I purchased this hard drive for more storage options as my hard drive on my laptop was nearing full capacity, this hard drive is good for Youtube editing and video file storage, the speeds i am getting from transferring video files from laptop hard drive to the WD Black hard drive averaged around 100mbs, i also like that the hard drive is compact making it easy to transport, The only issue i have with the hard drive is that it does give off a bit of noise when plugged into the laptop but thats common for portable hard drives that are powered via a PC. I recommend this hard drive for content creators who need more portable storage.

Excellent works really well in Xbox one and one X. Still takes same time to transfer games to external HD as it is for consoles to download digital games from store. Instead of 4 terrabites you get 3.6 🤔🤔

I bought this about a month ago because we got a Xbox x/s which had very little storage and I've used a harddrive to buff up my old Xbox One for years with great success. Firstly, this does work, and any games that are still not X/S enhanced will work through this harddrive perfectly well, I did have a few crashes when I first opened one game but after that it was fine. My issue is, it doesn't say anywhere here that it can not play X/S games from inside the harddrive. If the game is in it, it will not open and will need to be moved to the internal storage first before playing. A pain when the whole reason I bought this was for more space so I could stop moving games in and out of my console. I wanted something that would hold my large newer games and be able to play instantly. So now before I can play a game I have to play a version of Tetris to move internal games to the external to make space and then move the game I want to the internal, and then wait for the move to finish. (I find most big games take about 20 mins each but it depends) In some ways this is fine, as long as I have patience left, also it makes me prioritise the games I really want regularly so it's definitely not a waste of money in my opinion. It's just not what I wanted. I feel like everyone should be warned, before purchasing so they know what they're going into, and obviously I've only done this on my Xbox I don't know how it works anywhere else. I've given it 4 stars because it does work and if you want more space, it's affordable and silent. I hope this helps you

Does the job, looks good, easy to use.

I got it to hold the games I rarely play - it transferred around 10 games in under an hour! I was pleasantly surprised as I heard it takes a lot longer. To play new games you’ll need to transfer them back to your console but that’s no problem for me. Cheaper than the expansion card and worth the money to me. I haven’t played my older games on it yet though.

Connected to Xbox without any hassle. Loaded up quickly with my games. Nice and neat looking item. Only issue for me was the one month free game pass voucher didn't load. Looks like it was out of date. Can play Xbox one games off this drive but not series s or X games. Good product.
