Crest Whitening Emulsions Leave-on Teeth Whitening Gel Pen Kit, 0.88 Oz (25 G)

I used this product previously when it was marketed as a whitening “emulsion” instead of serum but the formula of the product (thankfully) stayed the same despite the rebranding. I really like this product and prefer it over whitening strips or pens because I can use it twice a day with minimum sensitivity occurring to my teeth - and if the do start getting sensitive skipping a day or two of applications gets my teeth back to normal. It’s not a miracle product but it definitely helps a lot - the last time I used it was 2 years ago and I felt like my teeth stayed lightened until recently which is why I repurchased. Amazon also has to best price, it’s $20+ more if you buy in store.

I tried Crest whitening strips about 5 years ago and to me it seemed like it didn't really whiten at all, and it was difficult to keep the strips in place. My mouth produces a lot of saliva, and so they just slid all over the place and so I gave up. I decided to try these after I got a $400 quote from my dentist for a whitening procedure. Given that COVID makes dentist visits a little risky, and the high cost, I decided to try this emulsions product. I did a 7-day experiment where I used it after breakfast and at bed time for 7 days. My teeth were pretty discolored from daily coffee etc, so there was a lot of room for improvement. I definitely noticed improvement at the end of 7 days, and my wife did too. To my eye, the improvement was probably not as good as my dentist would have gotten (since my brother-in-law had done his via dentist and his teeth ended up pearly white). However, I am smiling more, and with confidence. Regarding application, one does have to start with a dry surface. I found that much easier to do for the top front teeth than for the bottom, which tended to get wet due to a prolific salivary gland. As a result, my tops seem whiter than the bottoms, but not distracting... just noticeable when I look close. Instructions say to just "apply and go." I found better results if I tried to keep my lips off of my teeth for a while after application. Typically, after application, I'd keep my lips off my teeth as best I could while lying down to watch TV or read for a half hour. I'd say this product is definitely worth a try. Yes, is more expensive than strips, but for me the strips just didn't work, so that was just throwing money away.

It’s working, but it’s a bit messy and I think I prefer the brush whitener over this gooey mess. Will not purchase this item again.

This will do nothing for you if you just put it on your teeth and go about your day. However, I have found that if I put it on my teeth and then put my Invisalign retainer on it does seem to work that way. I gave it three stars because it does work eventually when I use the trays and it doesn't make my teeth extra sensitive. But for someone who doesn't have a tray at home to use, it'll be a waste of money.

Cannot say enough good things about this product. My teeth are so white that friends have pointed it out! Also, even if you don't use it for a while, your teeth remain white. Very impressed especially considered I drink a good amount of tea which is known to stain. This is 100% a buy and I have repurchased I think 3 times now. Bottle lasts too. Note: I use it every night so I do get some sensitivity. It's not unbearable but with how frequently I use it it's not a miniscule amonunt of sensitivity either. If you use it on and off (every other day and take a break every few weeks), you honestly will have little to no sensitiviy. Once you stop using it too the sensitiviy goes away.

Works for my sensitive teeth. Enough for maintenance when desired whiteness achieved. Can use easily for edges and gum line. Had no pain from sensitivity at all.

Good luck getting this goop to stay on your teeth for 5 minutes, forget 30 minutes. And your bottom teeth? 30 seconds, the goop is gone. The first instruction is "Dry your teeth." Fine. I dried them. With a cloth. They are dry. Next instruction: "Apply to smile teeth." Fine, I applied the goop to my top and bottom teeth that show when I smile. The next instruction SHOULD read" "Magically cease all saliva production in your mouth. Perhaps you own a home suctioning device? If you do not, realize that you have been sold a useless product." Buying this was an expensive mistake.

The product works but ditch the frustrating plastic stand that constantly falls over and find yourself a pretty little glass to put this in. I find the product itself easy to apply, it doesn’t gag me (I can’t handle most whitening products) and it actually works. I did start using it twice a day to get faster results.

Doesn't hurt the teeth at all during and after application. As it's much more gentle than the strips, the result will not be as quick and prominent too. This is more suitable for people who is able to apply the emulsion on daily basis so as to see and/or maintain the whitening effect and most definitely recommended to people who have sensitive teeth and gum

The description says pack of 3. It’s only a single tube. I wouldn’t have paid this price for a single tube if I’d known. Deceptive description on this one.
