Tank vs Whimp
This is great, Durable, Built Like a tank, has nice weight to it, smooth with no friction between the joints and the latch mostly does not get in the way. dont buy the cheap stuff that uses torax screws instead. those constantly break. just look at the difference between the build quality

Beginner friendly
It is very good. Makes satisfying sounds too. Beginner friendly. But on the contrary it's heavy

Terrible design but gets the job done
Pros - Flips. Relatively cheaper (I bought it for Rs 1600). Cons - Metal body hurts a lot. Like a lot. Bearings are very tight, you need a strong lubricant, I used hair oil. The black paint strips quickly from edges. But the absolute biggest complaint from my side is the latch -- it broke pretty quickly for me and now flipping using the bite handle is hard. I highly recommend you to immediately dismantle the knife and remove the latch, as it also helps remove the weight from the bite handle. Regardless, it's fun using it and there aren't many better alternatives to this knife at this price, so I am probably going to recommend you purchasing this knife.

Great Trainer
This is a great butterfly trainer. It is inexpensive and well made. It works great and is lots of fun. Unlike most, this one even has the traditional latch. It is more shaped like a traditional butterfly than my other trainers. If you have or plan to get a butterfly, this is a great training tool. You definitely dont want to learn with a sharpened version.

I'm surprisingly happy with the quality
I've always wanted to try a butterfly knife but didn't want to spend a lot because you know how many things you THINK you will learn but never do. I reviewed several trainers and was skeptical about the quality of an under $15 knife based on the number of reviewers who had problems with sticking parts, falling apart quickly, etc. but this one was one of the better choices so I bought it. I have been using it for about a week now and have nothing else to compare it to except my quality folding knives. It is definitely a "starter" trainer but it has been working perfectly for what it is. The parts move smoothly without binding and it doesn't look like it will just fall apart in the near future. There is quite a bit of play and it clinks and clanks but it is quite worth the price to practice with and find if you have any interest at all. It seems a bit heavy to me but I have nothing to compare it to. It may turn out to be a plus when moving up to a better one. It certainly is solid. I am trusting the seller will honor the one year warranty if it does fall apart or have any problems within that time. Very much recommended if you ever wanted to try one.

Cheap in both senses of the word, so fine for beginners
My main issue is that I could not loosen the pivot screws that hold the arms, they appear to be fake screws and just pinned in place. So I had to bend the knife a bit to loosen those pins and its been working fine since. In the month since I've bought it the screws that hold the handles together have fallen out countless times, I finally got them to stay by using Teflon tape. The tang pin has fallen out which I had to use super glue and my pin punch. That being said I have abused the heck out of these things and they're still going. So if your fine with minor/major repairs they may last you a few months otherwise they'll probably break within the first week or so. That being said, they're 8 bucks so I got what I expected; a cheap starting trainer that will last long enough to get a taste for what you're looking for and buy a replacement. Just a shame the pivot screws are pinned in place, limits the ability to fix them.

To good
I love this butterfly knife trainer I had it for about two years and took it everywhere I even dropped it in sand and it had sand everywhere but It still worked and then I lost it in a river at my summer camp I learned so many tricks on this knife.

Bad latch, broke immediately, otherwise it's quite nice.
My A.D.D. brain won't ever let me relax, and it REALLY never lets me focus on anything single thing. I need to be multitasking just to keep sane. I've tried fidget stuff in the past but I never really clicked with any of them, so I looked for an alternative that I could use as a fidget toy. This thing is pretty good. Loud, but I expected that. The latch did break on day two, so that's not ideal, but it doesn't render the item unusable. It makes it so I can't close the trainer, and the latch is still on but useless, and gets in the way when using the trainer. Overall, it's fine. Not bad. Not great. Fine.
