Honeysticks Non Toxic Water Color Paint Sets for Kids (8 Colors) with Brush

Would love it if they made a pigmented pink amd purple! The purple looks like the color black. But nonetheless it's been perfect for my toddlers. They have a blast using it. I got some thick paper for painting and it's the perfect pair.

Love that its non toxic dont have to worry about my kids playing with it and getting it on there skin. Is lasting a long time doesn't just dissolve into nothingness. Colors are relatively bright if you rub the brush on them enough.

While this seems like nice quality, it doesn't seem to show on paper in the bold colors I would like. I usually pre-soak the paint colors before presenting to my toddler, and even then, it looks faint and unsatisfying. For that reason my toddler starts to paint but immediately want to be done or asks for regular paint because it's not making a nice bold color (more watery, as you can see). Also, I am using the Honey Sticks toddler paint brushes you can buy seperately. I would say the brush that comes with this works a bit better than those. Overall, for the price, I was hoping for something a little more striking.

Love that it is non toxic for my toddler. My older kids love to watercolor and she wants to join in but is very messy and it always end up in her mouth, hands, and face. I’m no longer so worried with a non-toxic version, the colors have good payoff, and clean up easier compared to others.

I love that these came in a tin with a place to hold the brush that was also included. We’ve bought the crayons from this brand so I knew the colors weren’t going to be the same as crayola but I was still disappointed. You have to be careful about how much water is on the brush and even so you really have to swirl the brush around on the paint for a while and with some force to get a noticeable about of color. The fact that the packaging says “vibrant colors” is misleading. The blue and green are the most pigmented but the color I was able to get in my photo was after a lot of dips back into the paint and rubbing. As an adult I was frustrated with how hard I had to work to get some color payoff and the purple color looks more like brown.

Love this brand. Non toxic should be the norm.

If you the rare type of very gentle toddler who only touches things delicately, this paint is amazing. My toddler rendered this cute little paint set unusable within the first day. The paint pots once wet quickly soften into little mushy sand-like material just begging to be dug out by little fingers or brushes. I'm going to try their finger paints next. It seems like a good brand and a safe product for kids, this just isn't realistically usable for more than a few days in our experience.

I’m very happy with these. My toddler loves watercolouring so I was looking for a non toxic alternative. They need a bit more water to start with but then they’re nice vibrant colours.
