Works Great for Me
I usually use a cart bag and was, therefore, a bit skeptical that it would fit given that the picture shows the hood mounted on a carry bag. I was pleasantly surprised. The hood surrounds the bag nicely; in fact, there are a series of snaps around the back half of the hood that allow it to be snapped to the bag. The hood is spacious in diameter and heighth; no problem securing the top flap. However, it does not fit my Ogio carry bag. The bag stand legs are about and inch and a half narrower for each leg than the hood's gaps for the legs to fit into. There is not enough "slack" or "play" to try and adjust the hood to secure the hood to the stand legs. But, it will snap to the back on the bag's backside and seems to be tight enough around the bag if one is careful not to pull the golf club and snag the hood.Though bulkier than any bag's enclosed rain hood, it still fits nicely into a larger bag pocket.

Great rain hood for your clubs!
Easy installation, with a tight fit around the base that snaps on securely. We are pleased it is waterproof, and extremely convenient for retrieving our golf clubs. We love this rain gear hood, and have found it to be well made and much more durable than expected. Great find!

No worries about water getting in
I like the fact that it easily attaches to any bag the material is much thicker and durable my clubs were completely dry after being caught in a down pour and the velcro clouser holds firmly in place

Great!
I have an all hybrid set of clubs with head covers, and this rain hood has enough room to cover them and still be able to get the club I need with minimal effort.

Only good for small carry bags
I used this twice on a Titleist Hybrid 14 stand bag, and the third time I tried to put it on discovered that it had ripped away from one of the seams. The rip not only wasn’t repairable, but the fabric is such that the rip quickly extended up the cover, making it useless. So a lot on money per use. I understand that the manufacturer was trying to make a universal fit that would be very snug around the bottom, but the bottom opening that goes around the top off the bag is pretty small. I think it would work fine with a smaller carry bag, but it’s just too tight for even a mid-size bag. Honestly, with my push cart, I’d be better off just draping an old rain jacket over my clubs than trying to attach this thing.

Beware Fit on Double Strap Bags
The cover is nicely built, but it won't fit on my Titleist golf bag. As shown in the picture, the cover has 2 openings on one side where the legs will protrude, but what isn't seen is the other side where there is only one opening located in the center. For a golf bag with a single strap, this would be fine. However, many Titleist and Sun Mountain carry bags (and probably other brands as well) have two spots at the top of the bag where the strap attaches. If you're riding in a cart, this might still work since there isn't any upward pull on the shoulder straps and the Seaforth cover can be pulled down over the strap attachments. But if one is carrying the bag, the cover can't be pulled down below the top lip of the bag opening, or if it is the straps keep pulling it upwards. The general design concept is great and I can see that if it fits your bag it would be a very nice rain hood. Seaforth, why don't you modify the design on the back side so there are 3 openings so one could use it with more bags? The single opening has velcro and a snap to keep it together - just do 2 more openings just like that to each side of the single opening and you'd have a truly versatile product.

golf club cover
The snaps could be a little lower so that you can pull the cover on all the way before snapping
