Very solid high quality tool!
I had never heard of a "speed square" until our retired carpentry neighbor wandered over when I was cutting siding for our garage and asked why I wasn't using one. So they lent me their spare which I ruined on the first cut ( did not pay close attention on how to use it) so I bought this set to replace it. Very solid high quality tool!

If you are looking for a speed square that is square, look no further.
i highly recommend these squares. I have several different speed squares, but this brand is the only "square" one. How do I know, checked with a large precision machinist square of known accuracy. They are good. I have two of the smaller and one of the larger. i use them in my wood shop everyday. These are cast alloy squares that are machined after casting. You can see the machine marks. They are the gold standard of speed squares IMHO. They do what the name implies, square.everything else is on an angle and it does that well too.
