Perfect Gift for Families
I purchased this as a gift for my parents, and they absolutely love it! There isn’t one thing I can think of that I’d change about it. Setting it up was a breeze. I had my siblings and my parents connected to the device along with the app installed on their phones (both iPhone and Android) in no time at all. The size of the screen is just right and image quality is as good as it gets. Adding additional users is simple and sending pictures to the frame couldn’t get any easier. We all send real time photos to the frame no matter where we are in a matter of seconds. Want to show grandma what you’re wearing to school today? Done. Want to show grandpa the snowman you just built? Done. And on top of this, it’s more than just a digital picture frame with having the ability to check the weather, play music and videos. The touchscreen works as well as a smartphone, and you can even swipe through the pictures and go into the storage on the frame and view/delete any photos you want just like you would on your smartphone. And with 10GB’s of storage, they’ll be able to fit more pictures on it than they can even keep track of. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a thoughtful gift for their parents or grandparents who like to continuously see updated pictures of their families.

WONDERFUL GIFT IDEA FOR THE ONE WHO HAS EVERYTHING
Ok, so wow. I am so impressed with this photo frame. I originally ordered this item as a gift for my grandmother. Figured we would load it up with family photos for Christmas. I did not expect it to be SO EASY for us to add pictures AND VIDEOS (which I missed somehow that it had the capability of storing and playing video, LOVELY SURPRISE). This frame comes with an app that you simply download to your phone, connect to the device by the frame ID, and instantly send whatever media you want to the device. THE KEY SELLING POINT to this device is that you can send the Frame ID to any of your friends or family members, and they can send photos and videos as well. THIS IS A PERFECT GRANDPARENT GIFT!!!!! Ive sent the link so far to my siblings and aunts/uncles, and we are all busy filling the device with all of our family's memories, and we can continue to do so for the years to come. How awesome is that?!? Now, I CANNOT WAIT to give this to my grandmother, I can already see the tears she will have when she realizes we will ALL be there in the frame. It is a FANTASTIC way to bring us all together in these weird times we are living in. Now, on to the device itself. It comes in a very nice box, kind of similar to the feel of opening a new apple product (I mean, who doesn't love that feeling?). I was NOT expecting the frame to be so solidly made. I was expecting more of a lightweight cheap plastic-y feel. NO, it feels solid, like a quality product. Set-up was SUPER EASY. Simply plug the device in, follow the on-screen tutorial + prompts to connect to your home's wifi, download the app, and done, you're in. super ridiculously easy. The entire process, from unboxing, to uploading my first set of photos, took no longer than 10 minutes. I will more than likely be purchasing this item again, because now I want one for myself as well!

Good screen quality, doesn’t get hot, snappy processor and 16gb memory
I have never had a digital picture frame before, but got this for my mother so that she could see pictures of her grandchildren. There are multiple ways to get photos into the frame. They can be emailed, they can be put on a USB or SD card and inserted in the back, they can be uploaded with a specialized app from the Apple App Store, And there even seems to be a way to send them directly from Facebook and Twitter. I find loading them directly from a USB or SD card to be the easiest, but it is great to be able to email them or use the app to get them in wirelessly. My sister can email photos of her children right into the picture frame from 900 miles away where grandma can see them within minutes. The hardware quality is impressive. The touchscreen works very well, there are 16 GB of memory and whatever processor they are using is very, very fast. All in all a good quality item. It can play videos and music, shows the local weather forecast for a few days and has a clock. The teenage grandkids enjoy sending photos to it knowing that grandma can see it. Like video calling, it is a nice way to keep families close even though they may be hundreds of miles apart.

Great for grandparents!
The frame works as advertised. Our kids don't reside near us, but they loaded the app on their phone and have been sending us pics of their families. The frame is large enough and super clear so that the pictures we receive look great. The only minor problem was with the setup. It's necessary for the frame to connect to wifi in order to be fully set up, but when I turned the frame on for the first time, the wifi was not turned on. There are no instructions on how to correct this problem. Luckily, I have a tech background, and after a frustrating hour of experimenting, I finally got the wifi turned on and managed to get the frame set up. If you are not tech savvy and this happens to you, you could have problems. But it works fine now, and we all enjoy sending pictures to the frame. Updated about 3 months after purchase. The frame suddenly stopped working. No idea what went wrong. It happened even as we were looking at the frame from across the room. One moment it was scrolling through pictures, the next moment the screen goes completely black. There was power to the frame because you could see the screen light around the edges of the picture, but the picture area itself went black. Also, it has a touch screen, and I could hit the "active" areas on the screen and get the audible feedback, but the display never changed. When I contacted Amazon, they said I'd have to talk with the seller and forwarded my message to the seller. It took several exchanges in order to really explain the problem. The seller is a Chinese company, and my impression is that we were conversing via a translation program. Eventually, the company agreed to replace my defective unit, and I sent the original one back. The fact that the frame failed in less than 3 months of use has me a little worried, but I think it's worth the risk to try another one. It's only been a couple weeks, but his one is working fine so far. It even set up perfectly the first time (unlike the one I sent back). The display quality is one of the best I've seen, and the app that pushes pictures to the frame is very easy to use. So the reduction of one star is due to the first one failing so quickly, and the little bit of frustration in getting a replacement. But, if you're looking for a nice frame that will allow the family to send regular pictures to the parents or grandparents, then I still recommend this frame. I'll update my review if I have any more problems.

Completely and Totally Disappointed - Not as Described!
I'm not willing to sacrifice my privacy by uploading pictures to the frame from my phone. The last thing I want to see is my family's moments posted publicly online by some unknown company. Maybe that wouldn't happen but there are a lot of fly-by-night companies on Amazon so who knows. To me, it just doesn't feel right to send pictures to some company who then puts them into my frame. So I opted to get this frame based on the claims made in the product description that I could put pictures on the frame without have to connect it to my wifi. Despite the images and text description shown on this page, I could not upload pictures to this frame by USB or a Micro SD card. The instructions that came with this frame are useless for adding pictures in anyway other than by their phone app. The USB connection will let you see the Andriod operating system folders in the frame but no matter where you save the pictures, the frame doesn't read them. The Micro SD slot doesn't work at all and even it it did, the slot is designed in a way that makes it very hard to remove the card without a small tool like a flat screwdriver. Also be aware that there is no white mat inside the frame as shown in the product picture. It just just your pictures right up against the black plastic frame. To me, it just looks like a cheap re-purposed tablet sitting on the shelf. The mat makes all the difference to me. My first instinct tells me there could be a lot of fake reviews for this product. I just got this frame yesterday and after an hour of frustration, I'm sending it back today and getting a Brookstone digital picture frame instead on Amazon. It seems a bit odd that I never saw the Brookstone frame when I first looked on Amazon. But it showed up in my latest search nearly at the top and it has good reviews that according to one popular review-checker, are legitimate. What happened the good old days where I could just toss in an SD card. I miss my old Pandigital frame. That was a nice frame!

A necessity that keeps us connected
This is my first digital photo frame. Early into the set up process, I knew that I would buy another one for my parents out of state. It’s a necessity that keeps us connected. With the auto-on and auto off timing feature, my parents will never need to touch it. The entire family can remotely load photographic memories from any travel destination. First, the smart digital photo frame arrived in a simple, white quality box similar to an Apple product. So my first impression was “this is gonna be good”. I recognized, immediately, the attention to detail and quality before I touched the product. After I removed the frame from the package, I found the set up process intuitive and simple. The user manual provides quick start information but mostly the digital touch screen frame is instinctive. The user manual is also included in the settings/device info. Account setup is easy and includes multiple ways to share or load media. The clock time/date displays in the lower corner. The alarm feature worked as it should. The weather display shows your photo slide show in an upper right side window along with 4 days of weather reports. Video options cover about any format. Photo slide show includes many transitions and you can finger swap to quickly advance a look-see. Also you can photo zoom quickly with two fingers swap or double-tap. The frame is lightweight and is available in black or white colors. It uses a support rod that screws into a back hole for desktop use. The rod is strong enough to prop up frame and can be easily removed for wall mounting from additional holes. With the auto-rotate function, the frame can be used vertically or horizontally.

Great clarity and easy to use
This video picture frame is easy and fun to use. The device itself is light weight and slim design. It comes with a AC adapter plug and a stand you screw in the back to prop up but there are also holes if you wish to hang it. The best part of this systems is that you can share your device identification code (you find this under settings) and allow family and friends to share photos to it. You have to download the app from the app store "Ourphoto" and then follow the instructions to upload photos from your device. You can also share photos from facebook and twitter by pairing accounts. This makes uploads so simple. This is a great device for anyone but especially for grandparents who you would like to share your family's life. The device itself has sound and can play videos as well as music. To turn off the device at night you can flip the switch in back and turn it off.

Great display and nice looking frame
The frame comes nicely and securely packaged as you can see from the photo. The picture quality is excellent. The picture I uploaded to the frame was not high resolution, but others were and they look great. Setting it up is easy and straight forward. The only slight complaint that I have (and it might just be due to me) is uploading the pictures was a little confusing. I figured it out though. Once I did it was fine. One hint-it says 9 pictures at a time is the limit to upload at one time, not total, just at once. If you try to do more than that (as I did) it looks like it is defective. It isn't. Other than that small criticism, the frame is great! With the black border, I would imagine it goes with most decor. Does not have a cheap appearance as some other frames do. Would buy it again, and might!
