One day Emma, Cleo and Rikki very different sixteen-year-old girls all growing up fast find themselves accidentally stranded at sea floating toward mysterious Mako Island. Discovering an underwater channel, they decide to swim to safety. As they enter the pool, the light from a full moon illuminates the water, creating a mysterious glow. The girls get off the island as fast as they can and back to normal life. One by one, however, the girls find life is never going to be normal again. They enter a wonderful, underwater world, but the nature of their powers draws them into wild adventures. And when local bad boy, Zane Bennett is rescued from a sinking boat by Emma, he turns out to be the biggest threat of all. Having seen something under the water, Zane embarks on a hunt for the mysterious creature lurking out at sea. As Zane closes in, the secret of their magic powers could be revealed to the world! A Fun, Fantastical Story
I love mermaids and this is a cute story. filmed in Australia, about three friends who inadvertently become mermaids after visiting a mysterious cave on a remote Island. Each develops a different power over water. Problem is, they can't get wet otherwise they turn. Living in a sea town, having to do dishes, attending pool parties and one working in a water park prove challenging to these young ladies who must keep their secret lest they become lab "rats". But sometimes they come dangerously close to being discovered. Out of necessity, they entrust their secret to only one friend, a brain who helps them whenever they need it. I'm a senior citizen and enjoyed the series so much that I am now watching it for a second time.

Fun series for mermaid lovers
My pre-teen granddaughter enjoyed this series so much. It has been watched over and over. Who doesn't love a good mermaid tale?

A bit mature, but still good show for 6yr old girls
My 6yr old twin girls love this show. It's not as good as Just Add Magic, but still touches on the same themes as that show. It highlights friendship and magic and adventure. And it's also more mature of a show than Just Add Magic. But still ok for 6 yr old. My girls love the whole mermaid aspect of it, they love the girls accents and of course they absolutely love the magic.

Very Very satisfied with the DVDs. I love H20 Just Add Water! I remember when it aired on Nickelodeon several years ago and then was taken off the air. I was so disappointed about that. Several years later it started airing on TeenNick and I remembered how much I loved it so I started wondering around the internet in search of DVDs of the show. I'm glad Amazon has them available for purchase. I could have re-watched the series online but I just don't like watching shows over the computer, it just doesn't feel the same to me. This show is so amazing. I wish that they could have made more than three seasons. I recommend this to anyone. Its just such a great tv show that the whole family can watch. I love the theme song and the plot and characters are great too. I've already finished watching this season and I just bought season two and soon enough I'll by season three. My favorite character is Emma by the way.

vogliamo la seconda stagione
mia figlia l'ha visto tutto d'un fiato, è curiosissima di vedere la seconda stagione ma è introvabile. una bella serie per ragazzine, adatta anche alle bimbe più piccole, mia figlia ha 6 anni e non ha avuto problemi a seguire la storia...

Such a fun show!
I was always a fan of the Little Mermaid movie and the animated series when I was a child and I still am. This is one of my favourite TV shows because the Australian actors are so good, the scripts are well written and the plot is a fun idea for audiences. The young women discover an island where they step into a pool and the full moon turns them into mermaids and gives each mermaid magical powers that has to do with water! It's nice to see how the girls are close friends with each other, how strong they are and how they help each other. What a Beautiful and wonderful show. It makes me wish that I could be a mermaid! I love this show! So creative. Shipping was fast too. 💙🧜🌊🐬

Amazing A++++
This is absolutely amazing and a must have for any H2O fan. It is incredible. However, please note the DVD is in German but the audio on the episodes is in English with German subtitles but these can be easily turned off. It is great value for money and ideal for someone who wants to watch all of H2O from the very beginning.
