Great knife for the price. Better than some much more expensive options.
Absolutely love this. I got a second one for home so one stays in my fishing bag and the second I use carving steaks and deboning chickens. Replaced a $140 boning knife with this and it safely fits in my drawer folded up.I have yet to run it thru the dishwasher but it is sturdy and durable.Sharp enough to shave with. Easy to lock, fold , store and handle. The orange color makes it easy to find if you drop it in the sand.

Came sharp but I made it even sharper.
I measured it to be an 18 degree angle and it was very sharp but I sharpened it and it sharpened well and I got a Bess reading of 150! The initial reading was 200 which is excellent. The knife is very impressive and I highly recommend it. Very practical and when open it feels as solid as a non folding knife.

Great knife for backpacking, canoeing, etc.
The pictures show this knife side-by-side with my beloved folding Buck brand knife that has accompanied me on multiple trips to the Canadian wilderness. They both have very comfortable rubberized grips, but I really like the contoured shape of the KastKing knife better. The Buck knife is build like a tank and weighs almost an ounce more than the KastKing, so only time will tell if the KastKing can withstand the abuse the Buck knife has over the years. It seems sturdy for as lightweight as it is.One major plus of the KastKing knife is that it comes with a very durable sheath with thick Velcro closure and a big accommodating belt loop on the back. I don't plan to carry this knife on my side, but it will definitely find itself attached to the outside of a backpack! We keep our fillet knife tucked away in a pack so it doesn't get lost - a nightmare on a 10 day wilderness trip when you eat fish daily - but the option to keep this knife safely external on a pack is going to be a nice alternative that I look forward to.As for cutting ability - I have not tested it, yet. In my experience, fillet knives all hold a sharp edge - its just a matter of how well the edge holds up to filleting pike and big lake trout day after day. My Buck knife uses 420J2 steel - which is pretty much crap for a fillet knife though extremely corrosion resistant. I have gotten good at sharpening it over the years though it is not fun. This Kastking is 416 stainless - which is superior to 420J2. The KastKing knife also has a slightly thinner blade, which makes it more flexible and easier to work with. This was not intended to be a comparison of 2 knives, but it seemed to be a easy way to review a knife I only recently bought as I have LOVED my Buck knife over the years and have even given several away as presents. But this KastKing at 30% cheaper, lighter, more portable, and made of superior steel is my new knife of choice.

Nice knife, but received dull version
Nice knife! Flexible, and convenient folding size. Only complaint for the one I received is that it is extremely dull. No problem though, since I sharpened it now. I had read reviews that stated these knives came very sharp, so I must have been sent one that missed sharpening and a quality assurance inspection?

Seems to be a quality product.
The Blade is flexible but yet sturdy enough. While being a Folding knife it feels sturdy. Seems to be a quality product.
