Create Nest “C-wire”
Used it to create a Common wire for my steam boiler so I could power a Nest thermostat when the furnace isn’t running. Nice long wire on it. Find instructions for creating the c-wire on youTube. This transformer works great. —Note, someone in a Nest YouTube video referred to one wire as + and te other as -, that is incorrect. This is an AC transformer that does not supply DC or direct current. No matter, AC works fine to power a Nest thermostat

Worked as expected
I needed this to power a Dahua video doorbell that did not have existing wiring. The power outlet was directly on the other side of the wall, so it made for an easy install.
