It works very good on gophers and moles, if shrews eat similar foods it works

Is there uptake by plants?

Personally, as a safety precaution, I would not use it on edible plants/herbs. I can say that it has worked well for the mole trails we were finding around our curb-it edging and on the lawn and it has not harmed shrubs or grass. They were taking over! Apparently, they do like it, as was advertised, and it seems to have eliminated the problem.

will this kill racoons ?

I was wondering if animals like cats, skunks, and raccoons would eat this but I have no evidence. I try to make sure that it is put in an active mole hole so that larger animals don’t eat it.

Will it get rid of woodchucks

We don't have woodchucks here in AZ but it kills pack rats, etc. So I GUESS it might.
