Ordered this as a Christmas present for my dad (a farmer). It is perfect for cold winter days and has nice versatility - ear flaps can be folded up a little, size can be tightened a little, and the bill is just right for a little shade for falling snow. We ordered a second one for my husband.

truly is warm. only negative is that the bill comes down a bit to far.so i see more of the road i walk on and not the tree tops.but, it’s truly as warm as they say.john

years of searching... finally found it.... Don't get me wrong... I've tried a lot of other warm hats.... including the Bison Beanie produced by the buffalo wool co. .... a close second.... some were good... some were ... Meh! .... This hat... it checks all of the boxes.... warm, windproof, stylish... and ... has a visor to protect your eyes from the sun....
