This grew my hair

This oil arrived in good condition, with mostly foreign text written on it. It smells fantastic, and has a very herbal smell to it, very refreshing. It's advertised as helping with hair loss, preventing dandruff, moisturizing, cooling, and helping ease head aches and pains. I can say that it works awesome as a cooling agent and leaves my scalp very cool and smelling fantastic, the sent lasts quite a while and has a warm relaxing aroma, after receiving some superficial wounds from my last deployment I've had head aches for quite a while and a bit of anxiety, a little bit of this on the scalp eases the tension a little and the cooling effect is really nice, the duration of cooling is quite long and the sent is as well. It's also not too overwhelming, it's somthing I plan on buying more of, this stuff is great. Put a little over somthing that aches on you and it relives a fairly good amount of pain, and also stops scalp itching in hot areas where you dry out, the cooling effect is great. I can't vouch for the anti dandruff or hair loss aid working or not, but with all the great effects I'm getting out of using this I would not doubt that it does work. So in summery, it's cheap, came in good condition, smells very herbal, the sent lasts a long time, cooling has long duration, it does indeed stop scalp itching caused by dryness and heat, it eases head aches, and lowers the pain and itching around my wounded leg. I have been fighting acne for almost 15 years now. They only times I have had clear skin have been when I was on Accutane and both times I was pregnant. Nothing has helped and I have tried so many products. After running out of other ideas I decided to try oil cleansing. For those that don't know what oil cleansing is, it is where you wash your face with oil to clean and hydrate at the same time. I originally mixed castor oil with coconut oil (25% castor oil) and had terrible results. The coconut oil made my skin break out even worse. Next I tried using almond oil instead of coconut oil and had better results but my skin still wasn't clear. It basically brought me back to before I used coconut oil. My skin was very hydrated but it was not getting any clearer. So I ended up trying this Navratna oil and it has worked amazing! Within a couple of days I could already see my skin getting clearer and clearer. It has been a week now and I only have marks left from where I had pimples before. I have had no new pimples in a few days. I am amazed at how well this works. It is definitely worth a try if nothing else is working for you. To oil cleanse with it take a small amount and rub it into your dry skin. Spend some time massaging it in all over. I usually spend 2-3 minutes doing this. Then take a wash cloth and get it wet with very warm water. Press and hold it on your skin to open up your pores. Repeat this process a few times in each area of your face. Then wipe the oil off in an upward motion. I tone with Shea Moisture's problem skin toner and then put a tiny bit of argan oil on to moisturize.

I bought this product at the recommendation of Organic Olivia (her website) because I've been cleaning my face with oil for a couple of months now and she said this product was great for facial cleansing (if you're doing the oil method). I've only used it twice so far (I just received it in the mail) but I will say, it leaves my face feeling smooth and soft. However, I didn't understand that this is a tingling oil (similar feel to Icy Hot or a topical muscle pain reliever in my opinion) so DO NOT get this in your eyes. Holy cow - I did that by accident and tingling eyeballs is not a great feeling. I like the scent but it is strong so this may be a factor in your decision as well. It smells a little -- pine-y and clove-y? It's a mix of oil and herbs, so that's where the scent comes from. I'm also hoping this helps my acne/scars clear up a little bit so I'll update this when I've used the product longer (which is why the 4 stars - if it does what I hope, 5 stars! :) ) This would also be great for hair/scalp massage and conditioning or tense muscles. A very multi-functional oil!

I tried this expecting a soothing scalp oil, but the experience was overwhelming rather than relaxing. The cooling sensation is extremely strong and can feel uncomfortable, especially if applied generously or left on for long periods. Instead of a gentle calming effect, it quickly becomes distracting. The oil itself is also quite heavy and greasy. It takes a long time to wash out, and even after shampooing, the hair can still feel coated. While it does give a temporary cooling feel, it doesn’t translate into noticeable scalp comfort or hair improvement. Overall, the intensity and heaviness make it more difficult to use than enjoyable, especially for regular application.

I ordered this on recommendation from and friend. I was a little put off by the smell for something that goes in my hair, because I'm used to using products that smell that way for achey muscles. I applied it to my hair before bed, as suggested and found that my hair felt very dry upon rinsing, which is the opposite of what I expected. Normally, I use Darshana Natural Indian Hair Oil (6 fl oz.) as an overnight hair and scalp treatment oil, which makes my hair feel very soft. So, not willing to give up, because even though my hair didn't feel nice, my scalp felt great and I liked sleeping with the scent on my head as it did help me feel especially relaxed. The next time I tried it I used a plastic dropper Plastic Transfer Pipettes 3ml, Gradulated, Pack of 100 to apply some oil directly to my scalp, then I used my usual oil for the length of my hair. Well rested, invigorated scalp and soft hair! I'm very glad to have found this blend in sesame oil because others I've seen are in a mineral oil base. Will continue to use on my scalp and will keep it in mind for aching muscles as well.

I originally bought this from the suggestion of Organic Olivia for washing my face to improve acne. It didn't work for me for acne, it made it worse, unfortunately. I had a pretty clear forehead which quickly turned to being covered in acne bumps. I continued using it for nearly 2 weeks just to see if my skin needed to acclimate but it did not. It has taken awhile of not using the products for it to clear up. In the product's defense, it seems like my skin doesn't respond well to any oil treatments. Other reviews are correct that it does have a strong smell that is difficult to get used to at first but I eventually did. It is a heavy menthol smell, with an undertone of ammonia. I did like that it has a cooling effect, similar to icy hot and it definitely calms the muscles of wherever you put it. So I will still be using the product, but as a muscle relaxer and not on my face. If you are able to use it on your forehead or temples without breaking out, it really does calm you down and help you get sleepy and fall asleep. So I did like that part of it.

Very good product

I adore the smell. It is invigorating as a hair and head massage oil. It has also helped my tendonitis in wrists and elbows, massaging in twice a day. It has a lovely cooling effect, and I have even used it rubbed into my neck, to zap extreme hot flushes [menopause]. i have used it to cure an all-day headache within minutes of massaging in. No nasty drugs or dodgy ingredients. All in all, this is wonderful stuff. Highly recommended.
