Whole beans/ground coffee has been a revelation for me at home. Never will I desire instant coffee. The rich aroma and smooth taste satisfies senses far beyond insipid, instant coffee. Anyway, to get started a French press is the best way and this one provides excellent value to get filtering and drinking. It looks great and functions great.The French press looks tremendous, coming in a sleek Matt black finish topped with classy rose gold. The interior is entirely stainless steel and has no troubles holding boiling water or being cleaned. I've used mine for nearly two months and still no stains! Super easy to clean. The value to this French press comes through not just in finish but also the addition of a spare filter and a coffee spoon to professionally scoop your grounded coffee.The press filter is made from a metal rod and base, giving me no troubles or worry during the many presses I've used this. The filter washes very easily like the inside of the jug, fresh for resuse.I further leaped in purchasing this French press because of its insulating qualities which has not disappointed. Of course, this will not work like a vacuum sealed flask but does enough to keep my coffee warm inside for up to 3 hours. Enough to get breakfast made and eaten before sipping down the rest.
