A Total Game-Changer for My Skincare Routine — Visible Results from Day One!
I loved this ionic facial steamer! From the very first use, I noticed a difference in my skin. The steam is gentle yet powerful, it opens up my pores quickly and has really helped improve my skincare routine. I like that it heats up in just a few seconds and has a sleek, practical design. After using it, my face feels much cleaner, more hydrated, and ready to absorb skincare products better. I totally recommend it if you’re looking for an easy and effective way to care for your skin at home.

Be careful, start out by facing the steam from a distance before getting closer to the hot steam.
Easy to set up, steam output is very good, and I like the way my skin felt afterwards. I have also used it as a humidifier. I am looking forward to using it to warm hand towels as well.

A self-care essential.
This has been one of the best purchases I've made in quite awhile. I've incorporated this into my "self care" routines. I can't speak to the benefits to my face yet, but I can tell you, I feel incredibly relaxed when I take 10 to 15 minutes out of my day to use this steamer. It makes me wish I had a full sauna in my bathroom that I could sneak off to after a long day at work! Until I win the lottery or I receive a large inheritance from a long-lost-relative, this will do the trick.I live in the northern states where winter can be long and brutal, and having this lovely little device to come home to makes getting through the day just a little bit easier. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to up their self-care game a little bit.

HELPFUL HINTS!
I am concerned with the extreme scald temperature that this produces, you MUST plan on keeping your face well above it at all times!!! Like 10 inches! This is NOT one of those where you rest your face down into it, the water in this boils, so it's above 212 degrees at all times! I suggest filling the reservoir completely, maybe even with chilled distilled to slow it down, then maybe do the "towel over head" thing like you do with a pan on stove method, so you can be at a safe distance but still get all the steam. I ended up sitting on a high stool so I could get well above it, and turning it to "humidifier" which seemed to lower the temp a little? ALSO: run a full batch of water on that setting before using, it has a strong chemical smell at first. All that aside, when your sinuses are torturing you and you will do anything short of setting yourself on fire to get relief, this is a bit easier and safer than the pan on stovetop technique. I also got a nice pore cleaning from it. So, although it NEEDS a temperature control badly, I'll still use it. At least I can breathe now.

Steam as HOT as nuclear fusion. awesome.
Amazing. Far better than the vicks inhaler model VIH200. The temperature of the steam on that one is like that of a warm fart. It does nothing to serious sinus congestion. This one has stem so hot, it could split an atom and thats what my sinuses need.

Good, but there are better options
TL;DR: This steamer worked well for me for the price, though it got mold and I had 2 models break in as many years. I recently got a more expensive steamer that works much better.More informationI purchased this steamer in 2019 to help with clogged sinuses and clogged pores. It did help on both fronts. For about 1-2 years, I used it close to every day to open up my sinuses before sinus rinsing and I believe it helped me avoid sinus infections. I also bought the same steamer for my sister as a gift. When my steamer broke, she gave me hers. Which also broke a few months later. At the time, the steamer felt like good value for the price. The blackhead removal tools that came with it have been helpful. I never used the steamer towel chamber. I didn't need the large water reservoir, and in fact, mold grew in it at one point. My solution was to only fill the reservoir partway because I would generally only steam for ~5 minutes. I did notice this product now advertises "nano steam" and "negative ions", which makes me skeptical given the fraud in the negative ion products.I recently got a sinus infection recently and decided to go back to steaming. This time I took a risk on a more expensive steamer hoping to find a sturdier option. (I tried https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Dennis-Gross-Facial-Steamer/dp/B071FNYPM4). Out of the box, the new one is significantly better. Specifically 1) it's much smaller/takes up less space, 2) the steam begins much more quickly with less wait and 3) it produces a much higher quantity of steam at a fast rate. I don't know if it will last longer, but it does seem to be a sturdier build. Potential downsides: 1) it doesn't have a towel chamber (which I don't need) and 2) the reservoir is smaller (a good thing for me given my short steaming time and the mold problem).Bottom line: This particular model seems to win on price, and it helped me with sinus problems and clogged pores. If you are optimizing for quality over price, there are better options.
