No it does not get warmer. You are able to warm it up. I place it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

Does this contain any aloe?

I don’t think so, it’s good for massages though

Can the roller be put in the freezer?

Hmmm o have not tried the freezer but I see no reason why it would not. The holler does not hold oil, it just helps the oil spread and helps sensitive parts.
