Crucial Technology 8GB Kit (4GBx2), 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800,

I ordered these just because I wanted to up my ram for graphic design purposes. Big projects with a lot of layers bogs my computer tremendously. It took three tries ordering the right ram but that's my fault as I didnt look up compatibility (go to the website and put in what type of computer you have, save a headache). I have had my custom built alienware computer since 2011 and it has been having a freezing issue since I got it. Dell sent out technicians and still same issue. I have just dealt with the issue because it wasn't daily but it was often. I get this ram from crucial and have had them in for over a week and my computer doesn't freeze anymore! It would have froze at least 3-4 times by now. I can even run programs I was never able to run because of the freezing issue. I haven't been so happy about my computer. It runs brand new. I also never write reviews which speaks volumes lol. Crucial saved me many many headaches from losing work! In the middle of designing it would freeze and corrupt my work. This has been incredible!

The main concern with RAM is ensuring you buy the exact right RAM for your particular system. Using Crucial's excellent website, I was able to ensure that this was the correct RAM for me (I ordered through amazon to make use of Prime and because I had a gift card). It seemed slightly tricky to determine if this particular item was the one described on Crucial's website, but after comparing the specs I ordered this kit. Installation was easy and my computer has been running smoothly since. This is exactly what I was looking for at a fair price point.

No problems at all. Purchased for my Alienware R3, after going to the Crucial website and checking to see the type and speed I needed. After confirming memory, back to Amazon.com and ordered Friday and got to me on Sunday. Can't get much better than that. Installed 4 sticks in about 1-2 minutes and I was up and running without incident. Make sure to unplug your computer and wear an ESD wrist band so as not to damage computer circuitry while installing. When my Alienware started back up, I got a screen that told me the memory configuration had been changed and all I did was a restart and booted into my operating system and my 16GB of RAM showed when I checked the system properties under Windows 10.

I'm pretty sure that everyone prefers one particular brand over another. When it comes to memory I prefer Crucial over all others. Sure, you can find cheaper memory out there, but when it comes to memory it seems that you really do get what you pay for. Every stick of RAM that I have ever bought from Crucial has been rock solid, fast, and dependable. I recommend it when asked for advice on memory and I use it when I build custom machines for my family, friends, and customers. Save yourself some time and headaches and buy the good stuff. Buy Crucial!

Great for my needs.

I just purchased this dual set of 4 GBs for a fairly economical gaming rig set up. Had no issues installing. The RAM works great for gaming and is much cheaper than the gaming advertised specialty RAM sets. Would recommend if you are looking to upgrade and save some money along the way.

Perfect match for my system, works great. I was able to go in and adjust settings to max out the access speed. My old system will only accommodate 8GB max, and that is so much better than the 4GB that I was frustrated with.

can't really review ....i didn't pay attention and bought the low voltage type memory. my Dell won't accept them.

Au top je peux faire tourner Warzone tranquillement avec ma vieille gtx 970 alors que cela m'était impossible avec mes 8go

I purchased 6x4GB to upgrade my Dell XPS 9000 to end up with a total of 24GB. Took me 10 minutes to replace the memory. I ran a memory check and no fault were detected. My PC booted no problem and I check the system to notice I now had 24GB of RAM available. Just wish everything in life would be that easy!

Fitted in minutes, it works just as I'd expect. No issues to report, sensibly packaged, and so far reliable. I'll be happy to add more of the same when the budget allows.
