I use it for a variety of kitchen cooking functions, including for measuring the temperature of oil as it is heating up. It doesn't make annoying beeping sounds like some others do and it takes a reading fairly quickly. And when done, just fold the probe and stick it on your fridge. What could be easier?

No issues great item - does the job

This is my second time buying it , I love it . It's durable , gives instant readings and the numbers are big and easy to read.

It works quite well. I am not sure how accurate it is, but it is fast and seems accurate. The only issue is that it does not hold the reading temperature. So, you need to read it as it is contacting the subject and measuring the temperature. Sometimes, it is difficult to look at the small screen when the device is reading the temperature (hard to reach situations). That is the only drawback so far.

The pen is very accurate, My cooking has dramatically improved now that I can measure precise temperatures. However, what will keep me buying from this brand is their after sales service. The first one failed a few days after it came; It was replaced. No questions asked. About a year later, the second one began to show erratic temperatures. They only asked for a photo and replaced it again. I have signed up for the three-year warranty also. Look at it this way. It's more expensive, but the cheap one will fail a few months later. This one will last you years. If it fails during the warranty period they will replace it. Go for it.

I have been using this meat thermometer for a year now and it works great! It’s accurate, easy to use and comes with a strong magnet on the back so you can keep it on the fridge. Also comes with a meat temperature chart for safe cooking guidelines.
