I love this book! It's sweet and completely reminds me of bedtime when I was a kid, as well as tells me what bedtime will be like when my son is just a little bit older. The battle of wills is captured perfectly.I love Eric Litwin's other books so was keen to buy this, and it did not disappoint. There's good use of rhyme and repetition, a super song (that my son was singing by our second read) and the illustrations are gorgeous. My son frequently asks for the "nut book". I think just about every parent and child will identify with the story. This is a great bedtime book, and I can't wait to see what Mr Litwin comes up with next.

Great for young children and those with learning difficults. Parents, teachers etc will love reading.

If your kids love Pete the Cat by Eric Litwin, they will love this book. Rhyming, songs, repetition and bright art work. My 3 and 6 year old grands love it. Six year old can read the words or just sing along and enjoy the fun. Download the free song so you know the tune ahead of time. I must have read it 10 times in 2 days. The kids had it memorized so I really only turned the pages and said one word. They filled in the rest, including howling at the moon.Ordered from Amazon Canada but shipped from US. Arrived exactly when promised and in perfect new condition.

Fun repetition and a singable quality common to Eric Litwin books. A great add-on if you've collected Groovy Joe and/or early Pete the Cat.Got a chuckle once I noticed how dad just snoozes on the couch and isn't seen again. Give a listen to the Eric Litwin recording after you've read through a few times to compare your singing style to the "official" version. (My wife and I each went in different and unique voices, which is a fun result to observe)Not that I've tried, but definitely a big book with big clear print which can be read very fast, making it a great choice for early readers with a short attention span.

Great story for my 2 year old. Make sure you teach them to howl at the moon like a wolf, it makes the story more fun.
