Photo Journalism At Its Best
The book itself has some great quality yet harrowing photographs, not only in animal agriculture but in all aspects of humanities dominance over animals. Alongside the photographs are some thought provoking quotes and statistics, outlining the numbers of animals killed for food, clothing, entertainment etc..I think everyone should take a look through these photographs, animal activist or not, it's a starke reminder of our current relationship with animals for our own desires.

Shocking, but absolutely needed.
Expensive, but a truly heartbreaking photo book. Some of the pictures in here are horribly graphic, but knowing what animal agriculture does to sentient animals it could have been much worse. One day, in the near future I hope, our kids will look at this book and be horrified and appalled at what their ancestors did to innocent creatures. All totally unnecessary too.

Brave, beautiful, harrowing, essential.
A beautifully, if harrowing, put together collection of images from around the world showing how human animals dominate, exploit, and abuse all other animals. Its large and close up. But such important work to do. So important to educate all of humanity about what really happens, to help find our compassion, and to move to a kinder future. Buy it. Support we animals media. Help to expose the grotesque lie, we are kind to animals, that we are bombarded with daily.

A picture truly speaks a thousand words !!!!!
I am engaging with people every day sharing information about why we have a climate change issue, bad health, pandemics etc. and this book has greatly helped me. When people take a look at this they never forget the truth of animal exploitation by humans. Thank you

Evocative, but some questionable layout and print decisions
The photography does what it's intended to - reveals truths we don't see in an effective way.The print is a little poor. It's matt paper throughout and loses some of the detail. Perhaps deliberate - these images are hardly the glamorous gloss you might see in fashion photography. But the photos look dull and lose impact in my opinion. Some of the images span two pages and critical areas are lost in the fold of the binding. The layout in general isn't great. There is a lack of meaningful commentary. Some sporadic sections of text that don't relate very clearly to the images. So 3 star for some quality photography, but it doesn't really work in print in its current format.
