Heating up with Excessive fan noise while in sleep mode with absolutely no app running
update: Seems like Microsoft has made upgrades and the heating problem is not present anymore and in normal levels. The rest of indicated issues are the same. Changed rating from one to three.After 30 years of being a laptop user/ owner; this one classifies as one of worst 3 laptops I have ever had. I am writing this review after putting up with this laptop for past 10 months.1- Heats up all the time; due to internal Microsoft programs such as Microsoft compatibility.2- Fan is super noisy3- Battery life is not even close to my expectations.4- While in sleep mode with all APPS terminated; Windows manager running causes heating up and fan running. Have to shutdown the laptop; as the only solution. I am used to leaving my laptops on for months.5- I monitor my APPS; Power usage; CPU usage and .... by having Task Manager window available to me at all the times that I am at the laptop. Have gone through Microsoft community replies to similar situation and in general what the reply is "it must be your apps and our hardware and software is flawless" and at the best they would reply with "at rare cases that you have reset your computer to original manufacturer ...."Nothing can be found that shows any intention of helping the customer. Full of clichés responses.6- It is bulky7- Paid about $2800 for it and the performance is less than a $800 laptop.8- Will never buy any Microsoft hardware again and regret buying this one.
