Stepper count only works on hardest tension step
This stepper arrived yesterday to replace my old one,, the counter only started working when I adjusted the tension to the highest/hardest step ,, tried loosening the tension and it stops counting ,, not impressed since I paid £85 pound

CONSIGLIATO! BUON RAPPORTO QUALITA' / PREZZO
esattamente come appare: solido.

Twist Stepper
This is handy if like me you have problems with your knees. This makes you stand up properly and so helps improve your posture. I find if I slouch or lean forward slightly I end up putting pressure on my knees and get pains. With this though as long as I stand up straight I'm good. The only one complaint is that after 3 sessions I started hearing a horrible noise, a bit like a creaking door who's hinges need oiling. So I guess I need to grease the hydraulic mechanism. Using the bands at the same time as your stepping really does enhance the workout and you feel like you have been jogging after a while. For the price it was pretty good value as Argos were selling exactly the same item for at least £20 more. Overall, I'd say it is worth buying.

Decent, but could be better
Not a bad product for the price, however changing the settings doesn't actually change the resistance that much, it just happens to mean you're stepping higher. Also make sure that the machine is always on a protective sheet of some sort, a lot of grease comes off it. Very easy to put together, and the resistance cords are a decent length and seem to be fair secure once fastened. I'm 5"7 and the cords are a good size, but they may be slightly long for someone shorter. The computer measures steps accurately, when it works, along with steps a minute and the amount of time spent on the machine. The calorie counter is completely wrong however, and tried to tell me I had burned 2000 calories in 20 minutes yesterday, that said, computers on work out equipment is hardly ever reliable and I wouldn't particularly hold it against the manufacturers.
