"Revelation is a game changer for both teachers and students of the prophetic biography." Usama Canon, Ta'leef Collective "Many biographies of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have appeared in recent years. None, however, display the scholarly depth, methodological precision and factual clarity of Meraj Mohiuddin's, Revelation: The Story of Muhammad (pbuh)." Imam Zaid Shakir, Zaytuna College "Revelation: The Story of Muhammad is the first biography of the Prophet that I've read that brings it all together - there is something in there for everyone." Imam Suhaib Webb, Ella Collins Institute "The book is clear, eminently accessible, and based on some of the best Western scholarship on the life of the Prophet." Dr. Sherman Jackson, University of Southern California "Looking over this text was akin to seeing the internet for the first time." Ubaydallah Evans, American Learning Institute for Muslims Imagine a single resource that allows you to explore the Prophet Muhammad's life in extraordinary clarity and detail. And imagine this resource was easily accessible to everyone, so that children, scholars, busy professionals, students, and even casual readers can all learn and benefit. In Revelation: The Story of Muhammad Meraj Mohiuddin draws on 8 of the most influential works of prophetic biography in English. These include Saf'iur Rahmad Al-Mubarakpuri, Martin Lings, W. Montgomery Watt, Hamza Yusuf, Karen Armstrong, Tariq Ramadan, Reza Aslan, and Adila Salahi. Revelation is designed to help readers remember the smallest details of the Prophet's life without losing sight of the big picture. Revelation is designed for readers who are interested in understanding the historical and scriptural context of the Qur'an and how it was revealed. Readers of every level and every faith will learn and benefit from Revelation. Review: Amazing Infographics! - This book is pretty detailed and the graphics are awesome. Review: The new standard in Islamic literature has finally arrived - I own Ar Raheeq al Makhtoom, Noble Life of the Prophet by Dr. Ali as Sallabi, and Martin Lings seerah and if I could imagine a book that could perfectly explain the seerah and do so in an intelligible, illustrative, and unique way, this would have to be that book. This is college textbook quality authoring, editing, and publishing without the college textbook price. It is so well written and with very cogent logic as well as historical references you can confidently cite in your next dialogue. Most importantly, he's a fair author; meaning he tells it like it is and will include the opinions of the majority and minority of scholars simply to present the facts as they are. The price made me wonder if it would be worth it - Yes! A hundred times - YES. The author even incorporated mnemonics, diagrams, charts, and world maps to help you remember dates, lineages, and locations for crying out loud! When the author writes that this book was his 13 year project, you get that sense the very moment you hold the book. The book is a solid thick quality paperback with a stylish matte rubber finish. A binding that is actually a proper book binding and not the flimsy cheap glue we're all used to. It's in full color with detailed appendices, a glossary, and margin notes citing from Hamza Yusuf, Karen Armstrong, Reza Aslan, Tariq Ramadan, and even his own opinions. I own a vast library of Islamic literature from Al Ghazali and Ibn Kathir to Imam Bukhari and Dr. Ali as Sallabi to Ahmed Deedat and Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyyah, so trust me when I tell you, you need this book. It is going to set a new standard, so be ahead of the curve and invest in your knowledge.

Aishaโs age of marriage contract 16 not 9
Great book, just disappointed that the age of Aisha's marriage contract was said to 9 years when it is clear from the authentic literature that it was 16. It is stated to be 9 without any reference or caveat. Disappointed

This is the greatest seerah book especially for young people to learn about ...
This is the greatest seerah book especially for young people to learn about their Prophet from an unbiased perspective. The author has put in a great effort and it is so easy to read and extract lessons from. It humanises the Prophet and makes sense to the modern audience. I have learnt many new things about Islam which are so important to our young generation but are never talked about. It was a huge surprise for me to see how open-minded and gentle the Prophet was a teacher, the things that he stood for and what he emphasized. It is nothing like the Islam that I have been taught or many of my generation. If we only we knew who he was. Thank you to the author for not hiding the Prophet's true message from us. Studying this book will allow you to make practical changes in your life if you follow his teachings step by step, the way he taught and emphasized. You would be surprised at the actions he emphasized in his message as they are not what muslims follow these days. We have missed the whole point - the first revelations and the initial message that should have been the foundation of our religion. If the foundation is weak then what use is there in building on top of it. It's only going to collapse.
