Holy Bible: Reina-valera 1960 and King James Version Spanish/English Parallel Bible

Its great what can really be said about the Word of God. The print is good and its a good price as well. 10/10

I love this bible!! The bonded leather does not look cheap which is a plus. Love that it has an index for easy scripture access. The gold lettering and trim around the pages stands out so beautifully. The print is small, but readable. Thankful for the subtitles on the chapters which to me was one of the things I was looking for. Comes with two page markers. Overall lovely personal bible that is not too massive to carry around, but big enough to read comfortably. The shipping was incredibly fast. Came in angels wings that’s how fast I received it! Highly recommend. Oh, did I mention it is bilingual English/ Spanish?!!! God bless you!

Spanish Review: Esta es una de mis favoritas Biblias de usar para referencia cuando estoy leyendo otras traducciónes, la uso para comparar y saber el sentido de los versículos. Las palabras de Jesucristo no están en color rojo y las palabras son de tamaño pequeño. Por cualquiera razón nada más los capítulos en español tienen los títulos sobre los párrafos, la versión en inglés no tiene los títulos. Yo la recomendaría como Biblia de estudio para usar cuando están leyendo otras versiones de la Biblia que son más fácil de leer, pero las palabras si son muy pequeñas si no les incomoda eso la deberían comprar si son bilingües. ————————————- English Review: This is one of my favorite reference Bibles. I use it to clarify the meaning of other versions of the Bible. The font is small and Jesus Christ words are not in red. But it’s a small, compact Bible, it’s easy to store and have around. It’s a great study Bible. And only the Spanish chapters have titles over the paragraphs. The font is really small if you don’t mind that it’s a great study Bible for any bilingual person.

We wanted a small sized bilingual Spanish-English Bible (RVR1960 & King James). After a lot of research we settled on this one as well as the Holman RVR 1960/KJV Biblia Bilingüe Tamaño Personal, negro imitación piel con índice (Spanish Edition). Here’s our observations on the two so you can decide which one you want if you are only ordering one! Both are a nice size, about 5.5” x 8.5” x 1.5 (see photos for details on slight differences). Both have index indentions in the pages and book labels are in Spanish. American Bible Society Bible: 2 lb and slightly thicker than Holman Bible Holman: 1.75 lb and slightly thinner than ABS Bible This weight difference is noticeable in hand, but not major. American Bible Society Bible: 2 red bookmarkers, shiny gold lettering on spine and front Holman: 1 blueish-green bookmarker, dull turquoise lettering on spine and stitching on covers. American Bible Society Bible: the bonded leather cover feels nicer in hand than the Holman. It does bend. Holman: Even though this one says imitation leather, it has more of a plastic/vinyl feel to it. It is softcover and bends nicely. American Bible Society Bible: The font is blacker than the Holman Bible. Holman: The font is lighter than the ABS Bible. Otherwise, the fonts are very similar to each other. American Bible Society Bible: The same verses are on each page, but NOT directly across from one another (see photo for details). Holman: The same verses are on each page and ARE directly across from each other (see photo for details) American Bible Society Bible: On the English side, no syllables or accented syllables noted Holman: On the English side, syllables and accented syllables are noted American Bible Society Bible: book/chapter labels have a solid black line under them and only the book and chapter is noted Holman: book/chapter labels have grey background shading behind them and book/chapter/verse are noted. In conclusion, These Bibles are so similar it’s hard to choose one over the other, so it comes down to price and personal preference – if any of the above mentioned things matter to you! Easy to read it was what I expected I think it is a really good Bible for people who speak fluent English trying to learn Spanish and Spanish fluent trying to learn English.

Me gusta esta biblia pero las letras están un poco pequeñas y las páginas son delgadas pero voy a guardarla.

Very well laid out. Spanish on one page ans English on the other page.
