How big are the squares? Would poker chips fit on them?

The squares are about 3/4" squares. The small poker chips that come with some of your cheap multi-game sets may work but the standard 40mm poker chip is way too big. My suggestion would be to pickup a cheap package of buttons somewhere. Or, if you got old shirts you use for rags, rip the buttons off your rag shirts.

Is it addition 1-10 or 1-20?

The addition game supports 0-18.
