This is probably the best shampoo I've ever tried and I've used many different ones over a large range of prices. The scent is gentle- fresh but not overwhelming. I recommend using a smaller amount than ordinary american shampoo. It lathers well and leaves my hair clean for 3 days with normal activity ( I have short, normal consistency hair) and I don't even use conditioning. The best feature is that the product size is on the small side you don't end up using an old bottle/product over a long period of time. Yes it is on the expensive side but definitely a step above salon shampoos in my opinion.
