Can you buy refills so you always have more cold packs in the freezer. I can't seem to find refill packs ;-(

It is all one unit. You put the whole thing in the freezer. If you buy two you should be fine. They truly are amazing.

Question 2

Is it easy to adjust and does it stay on head or falls easily?

It is very easy to adjust if your head size is standard. I wear a size 8 hat, and this doesn't work for me, but I wasn't surprised by that. My husband suffers from frequent headaches due to a neuropathy, and he loves it. We now have two so he can switch them out. They get cold, but not so cold it damages skin.

Anyone else have a problem with it being too cold? It hurts to use...

Use the fuzzy side first. It is not as cold. If that is too cold then put a paper towel or cloth napkin or hand cloth between it and your skin. It sounds as if you should also start using Trace Minerals Research "Mega Mag" Liquid Ionic Magnesium Chloride since your nerves are oversensitive. Also having headaches is an indication that you have too much calcium in the cells in your head (dura) and neck where headaches occur. Magnesium supplementation with a well absorbed magnesium chloride like "Mega Mag" will help calm the nerves and lessen the occurrence of headaches and also make your temperature sensing nerves less sensitive, so this wrap will not feel too cold. (and no, I do not get any money from Trace Minerals Research company. I just had gone through years of migraines and finally found out that I have a genetic double mutation (CBS 699 mutation) that makes too much sulfur and phosphorus accumulate in my body. This then pulls in too much calcium into my non bone cells (soft tissue calcification). Calcium increases the electrical firing of the nerves and makes them oversensitive which can lead to pain. If you supplement with magnesium, that keeps the calcium in the bones and out of the soft tissue cells. Magnesium then gets into the soft tissue cells and calms them down and the nerves then are less sensitive and you have less pain. (Magnesium lowers the electrical firing of the nerves, thus calming them)You can also order Ancient Minerals Magnesium oil (topical oil for outer use only/ do not ingest) and rub this oil on your forehead and neck and shoulders and it will absorb through skin and relax the muscles in the area and help get rid of the headache that way.I had bad migraines where I could not even get out of bed and would throw up, and because my liver is weak, I could not take any pain meds, because my liver could not break them down and they would not work and just make me more ill. So I found out about the magnesium (the Mega Mag and the Magnesium oil ) and started using it, in conjunction with using ice to freeze and "put to sleep" the aggravated nerves in my head and neck and shoulders. This ice thing works great, but now after having taken the magnesium for a while, I no longer get headaches at all  unless I accidentally eat something High in msg, or high in calcium, or high in vitamin D or high in phosphorus. If you have a CBS mutation you should stay away from all four. (See Dr. Jockers web page on diet for CBS mutations) Get your genes mapped at 23andme dot com to see if you have a CBS mutation. Now that I avoid those foods and take my magnesium daily (CBS people are very magnesium deficient) I never get headaches. I just have this head wrap in my freezer just in case.

Does the cold come from ICE, or is there a GEL?

From the description it’s a gel inside and from experience it gets nice and cold in the freezer but it can still mold easily to your head as it’s a gel and not ice. I have other brand ice packs that are more rigid after freezing and feel less comfortable due to that.
