When paired with the cerbo gx, would this enable me to turn on/off a victron multiplus inverter?

Yes. You can turn on the inverter from the touch 50. Easiest way I have found is to make sure to enable the “Show boat & mororhome overview” option in display and settings. That will add an additional screen that will have a button to set Input current limit and also one to turn multiplus on off or charge only.

Does this touch screen stay lit constantly or only when you touch it?

only when you touch it, then stays lit for a couple of minutes

Can ipad pro be used to view and control the cerbo gx. do i need to purchase a few other control boxes to make this happen.

I have a cerbo gx and a lynx shunt, do i still need a separate BMS system to monitor my batteries?

Yes, the two systems you listed are observation tools. The BMS is an active tool in monitoring the state of the battery's and protecting them from excessive temperature variation and over charging among other things.

Cerbo GX für 24,15 €

Was soll ich sagen, einen Cerbo GX neu für 24,15 € (aktuell 360,-€) bekommt man nicht alle Tage (war 1 Woche vor der Rabattschlacht). Misstrauisch war ich schon (Anzeige: Karton geöffnet), aber dann die positive Überraschung, es war alles in sichtbar sehr guten bis originalen Zustand und vollständig. Dann war die Frage, ob technisch alles einwandfrei ist, auch hier die positive Überraschung, alles in Ordnung! Konsole Top und die Einbindung ins VRM-Portal ebenfalls. Einen kleinen Haken hat die Sache dann aber doch. Es ist die Charge, die bei 48V Spannungsversorgung einen Defekt erleidet, da versehentlich ein Elko mit Fake-Daten verbaut wurde (100V/4u sollen es sein). Momentan bei 12V kein Problem. Abhilfe bringt aber ein entsprechender Elko der parallel zu Spannungsversorgung geklemmt/gelötet wird oder Tausch bei Victron Energy. Bin aktuell sehr zufrieden und hoffe, dass dieses kleine Victron-Biotop bestehend aus 1Cerbo GX, 2 Laderegler, 1 Shunt 500A und Phoenix WR lange störungsfrei läuft.

Does a good job of controlling various connected devices (Solar and B2B chargers, multiplus inverter/charger, lifepo4 BMS) - good connectivity too. Particularly like the relays and temp sensor inputs

This thing is unbelievable. I can’t stop making node red automations. I still can’t find a limit of what it won’t do. I just finished building a node red controlled EMS that runs automatically and constantly monitors incoming power and adjusts equipment. My only issue was my first one died for no reason after 3 weeks. Victron took care of the replacement within days.
