A Gentler Retinol Eye Cream That Actually Softens My Fine Lines
I've been using prescription retinoids on my face for a while now, and I love the difference they've made in my skin. Unfortunately, they're just too harsh for the delicate skin around my eyes. I've tried getting a little closer to my eye area with my regular retinoid, but the dryness and irritation aren't worth it. I've been searching for a good over-the-counter retinol eye cream that would give me some of the same anti-aging benefits without being quite so aggressive. This Juice Beauty Retinol Overnight Eye Cream has been a really nice addition to my nighttime routine.I was particularly interested in the combination of retinol, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. I'm always looking for products that address fine lines and wrinkles, but I also need something that keeps my eye area hydrated. The skin around my eyes has become a little more delicate over the years, and I've noticed that dryness makes every little line look more pronounced.I've been using this cream for several weeks now, and I'm happy with how my skin is responding. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a heavy or greasy layer around my eyes. I can apply it as part of my nighttime skincare routine and pretty much forget about it. More importantly, it hasn't caused the dryness or irritation that I experience when I use my prescription retinoids too close to my eyes.As far as results go, I've definitely noticed that the fine lines around my eyes look softer. They're not completely gone, of course, but the skin looks smoother and a little more hydrated. I was also hoping to see some improvement in my dark circles, since that's one of my biggest concerns, but I really haven't noticed much of a difference there. I've tried enough eye creams to know that dark circles can be stubborn, so I'm not terribly surprised. I'm still happy with the improvement in my fine lines, which is what I was primarily looking for from a retinol product. In the end, I'm really liking this eye cream. It's gentle enough for me to use regularly, and after several weeks, I'm seeing enough improvement in my fine lines to want to keep using it. I wouldn't purchase it specifically for dark circles based on my experience so far, but as a gentler alternative to using my prescription retinoids around my eyes, it's been a great fit for my routine.

Rich Overnight Eye Cream That Leaves My Under-Eyes Smooth and Plump
I’ve become pretty particular about eye creams because I want something that actually feels like it's doing something without leaving the delicate skin around my eyes irritated or coated in a heavy layer of product. This Juice Beauty Retinol Overnight Eye Cream has been a really nice addition to my nighttime routine. The texture is creamy and nourishing, but it absorbs surprisingly quickly. I only need a small amount, and once I gently work it around my eyes, it settles in without feeling greasy or sitting on top of the skin. I especially appreciate that because I don't want my eye cream migrating everywhere while I'm sleeping. What I notice most the next morning is how smooth and hydrated my under-eye area looks. The skin feels softer and has that plump, rested appearance that I want from an overnight treatment. Fine lines look less noticeable when my skin is well hydrated, and the overall texture around my eyes looks smoother.I also like that this is specifically formulated with retinol rather than being just another basic moisturizer. Retinol is one of those ingredients I like incorporating into my nighttime skincare routine, especially when I'm focusing on fine lines and maintaining a smoother, firmer-looking complexion. So far, my skin has tolerated it well, and I haven't experienced the dryness or irritation that can sometimes make me hesitant with retinol products around the eyes. Of course, everyone's tolerance is different, so I would still introduce it gradually if you're new to retinol. At around $45, this is definitely more of an investment eye treatment, especially considering the small amount of product. That said, you don't need much per application, so I expect the tube to last a while.Overall, I really like this eye cream. It absorbs quickly, feels nourishing without being greasy, and leaves my under-eyes looking smoother, softer, and more hydrated by morning. If you're looking for an overnight eye treatment focused on fine lines, dryness, and that tired-looking under-eye area, this is a lovely option to add to a nighttime routine.

Good Retinol Eye Cream
I’ve been using the Juice Beauty Retinol Retinol Overnight Eye Cream and I actually really like it. It has real retinol, but the cream is rich enough that it doesn’t dry out or irritate my eye area at all. I didn't get the usual retinoid issues like dryness at the corners of my eyes or that delayed stinging that can show up after a few days. The texture is really nice too—moisturizing but not greasy, and you only need a tiny amount for both eyes, so even though it’s around $45 for 15 mL, it should last a long time.My only complaint is the applicator. It’s just a curved plastic tip and I honestly prefer using my finger because I can control the pressure and spread it better. If it were metal, at least the cooling effect would do something.Overall though, the cream itself is really good. For me the main thing is getting retinol around the eyes without irritating the area, and this does that very well.It also has peptides, antioxidants and a bunch of the usual Juice Beauty plant stuff in it too. I’m not buying it for that honestly, but it’s nice to have on top of the retinol.

Fits well into my Juice Beauty routine for healthy skin
All of my skin care is this brand. I used to be a diamond level at Ulta if that tells you how many different brand’s products I have tried. Now, I am completely brand loyal to Juice Beauty and no one gets my age even near correct when they meet me. This eye cream is part of my abbreviated routine. You don’t need all of the products any company offers, but in my opinion, this one is worth considering if your doctor approves retinol use for you.The cream comes out easily but doesn’t gush out and waste. There is no separation. It is smooth and pleasant to apply. I don’t experience any irritation. I do use the application tip, but you don’t have to. (Photo to show size of product.) I don’t have any scientific measurements to offer regarding my wrinkles, but I do think my skin overall does not reflect my age even though I was on an outdoor swim team and abused my skin when I was young with tons of unprotected sun exposure. It is important to follow directions for products around your eyes.

Gentle and easy to use, but I'm not seeing much yet
I've been using this overnight for a couple of weeks now, and my honest take is that it's fine but not exciting so far. There's no scent at all and no irritation, which is nice for an eye product with retinol in it. The ingredient list looks pretty good to me, with things like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and green tea, but I haven't noticed a visible difference yet. I do love the applicator. It's easy to use and makes it simple to put the cream exactly where you want it. It might just need more time, so I may update this later. If you're sensitive to retinol and want something gentle, this could be a good fit. If you're hoping for noticeable results quickly, I'd temper your expectations.

Easy to Use, Spreads Well, and Compact Size is Great for Traveling
This Juice Beauty eye cream has a nice lightweight texture that makes it easy to apply around the eye area as part of a nighttime routine. The cream spreads easily without feeling overly heavy or greasy, and the packaging makes it simple to dispense a small amount without wasting product. I also like the compact size, which makes it easy to keep on a bathroom counter or take along when traveling. The retinol infused formula is clearly identified on the packaging, and I appreciate that the product is specifically designed for overnight use. It fits easily into an evening skincare routine without adding much extra time or effort. The cream absorbs nicely and leaves the skin feeling moisturized without leaving a thick residue behind.Overall, this Juice Beauty eye cream offers good value for the money. The convenient packaging, pleasant texture, easy application, and overnight format make it a simple product to incorporate into a regular skincare routine.

I like the applicator of this one, it feels so good
I really like the feel of this eye cream. It has a rich, moisturizing texture without feeling overly heavy, and it leaves the skin around my eyes feeling soft, smooth, and well hydrated. The rounded applicator is probably my favorite part—it feels really good to gently massage the cream around the eye area, and it makes applying it feel like a little extra pampering rather than just putting on another skincare product. The ingredient list has a lot going for it, especially for dry or mature skin. There’s hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe, jojoba oil, shea butter, panthenol, vitamin E, CoQ10, green tea, and acetyl hexapeptide-8 for hydration, conditioning, and antioxidant/anti-aging support. It also contains magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a vitamin C derivative, along with apple and grape fruit-cell extracts.I wouldn’t consider this a replacement for a retinal or retinol eye treatment if your main goal is more aggressive wrinkle treatment, but I really like it as a nourishing, hydrating eye cream with some nice anti-aging ingredients. The combination of the texture and that cooling, rounded applicator makes it especially pleasant to use.I have been buying Juice Beauty for years and the company always seems to focus on quality products with a healthy edge and a good user experience, which I love.

Company in Liquidation
The first thing to know is that Juice Beauty entered creditor liquidation in March 2025. In plain English, the company failed financially and is now selling off what it has left to pay its debts. The products being sold today are leftover inventory from the old company, not new products from an actively operating skincare brand. So what does that mean for this retinol eye cream? Well, retinol starts to lose effectiveness about two years after it is manufactured. Because neither the box nor the tube lists either a manufacturing date or an expiration date, there is no way to know whether or not this product is still effective. The good news is that while it may no longer get the job done, it should still remain safe to use.Even if this particular tube turns out to be perfectly good, you're buying into a product line that no longer has an operating company behind it. If it becomes your favorite eye cream, there's a good chance you'll never be able to get another tube once the remaining inventory is gone. Since the product is still being sold at full price as if it were part of a fully functioning line that is actively manufacturing fresh products, I cannot in good conscience recommend it.For what it's worth, this eye cream was made in the USA using domestic and globally sourced ingredients for Juice Beauty, a beauty brand currently in liquidation.
