Bought this to test on my smoke detector, first thing to take note it took a little longer to activate the smoke detector after i sprayed around my smoke detector for almost close to 10 secs, by then the surface of my smoke detector was completely wet hahaha Will definitely recommend it to others if it can activate the smoke detector the moment we spray directly on the smoke detector, it does activate but i find it a bit too slow!

This is a great product. If you wanna make sure your smoke detector works, buy this stuff. Yes, you can push the button.But supposedly this mimics the smoke or something.Because it makes my smoke detectors go off

Just because you press the test button on your smoke alarm, that does not prove that it can detect smoke. It proves that the electronics are working. You need this product to test the smoke sensor and confirm that the detector can detect smoke. This is the safe way to test smoke alarms. Don't try creating real smoke to test alarms; that dangerous. this is how the pros do it.
