Is this an inline head like Susan bates hooks?

No, these hooks are at a slightly offset angle with a sharper tip. I like this type because they allow you to enter the stitch loops more easily. The inline hooks are harder to insert, in my opinion, and catch on yarn loops and disrupt my flow. Hope this helps.

How long is this Hook? 5.5" or 5 3/4" or 6" . . .?

I think all of the clover soft touch hooks are 5 1/4 inch long. I can't find my 6.0 but my 5.5mm is 51/4 inches long.

The G hook is a 4.0 mm hook and the one I have is a Clover Soft Touch. I also have a 4.5mm Susan Bates Aluminum Hook that was gifted to me; it does not have any letter on it at all.
