I honestly can’t tell what the effects of this supplement are. This brand ALWAYS, over several years, has the best value. I check every time. Remember if it says 1,000mg of their "proprietary blend" but no disclosure of EXTRACT mg, it's hiding something.

These are great supplements that don’t upset my stomach and that I take every day for all the things that you’ve heard turmeric and curcumin can help with. I think these are an excellent value for the large size of capsules that you get. I think the amount that you get in each pill is a good strength. There is no taste when I swallow them quickly.

Worked well for my joint pain. However, after just one month of use, my liver enzymes (labs) became elevated. After a lot of research I heard several gastroenterologists cite cases where use of turmeric with black pepper extracts caused liver failure. The pepper extract increases the absorption to a point of overdosage of turmeric. These findings aren’t brand specific. I stopped taking this supplement based on these concerns coupled with my abnormal lab tests.
