Do not buy this if you've never tasted it and are looking for a cure for digestion issues. In India, Hajmola is a treat with the helpful side effect of aiding digestion, but it's an extremely acquired taste. If you've ever had black salt (kala namak), that will tell you something about what this tastes like - it's very salty and sulphuric. This is not a pill you can swallow, you have to suck on it, so if the sound of it is nauseating, look for something else. (In my experience, I've never had a non-Indian friend who liked it).For those who know and love Hajmola, I found the shipping fast and the bottle and tablets intact.

I like Hajmola. I've been eating them since I was a little kid. I don't think they actually help me with digestion, but that's probably because I've eaten so many over the years.

This has to be the worst tasting thing I ever ate. I so wanted to try to continue to take them because after I took the first one it did help with the belching, but after the third day of trying, I started to vomit. If anyone has any Ideas on how I can take these pills so that I can't taste them, please advise. I brought 2 bottles.
