Extremely sharp and a bit of a beast - a bit bigger than I was expecting, despite me knowing in advance that it was 18cm. Nice knife though.

It's insanely sharp. Slices through tomato like butter even though it's not serrated. With some knife skills you can dice onion like a dream, julienne a carrot in no time. It's amazing but there's a very good chance you will cut yourself with this knife.

Best knife for every chopping need. Super sharp, nice weight. This is definitely the one I use on a daily basis.

Habe mittlerweile mehre Messer von Global in der heimischen Küche im Einsatz und kann mich nicht beschweren. Das Messer liegt ausgewogen in der Hand und hat die gewohnte Global-Schärfe.

Un couteau tranchant comme une lame de rasoir (il passe au la main le teste de la feuille de papier), aucun problème de finition, et un entretien simple. Concernant ce modèle, inspiré du Nakiri japonais, il permet en effet de couper rapidement les légumes (du fait de son tranchant et de la hauteur de la lame), tout en permettant des tranches beaucoup plus fines qu'avec un hachoir chinois, du fait de la finesse de la lame. Attention cependant à ne pas l'utiliser pour couper une viande avec des os, il n'est pas fait pour ça.

I have had all of the favorite kitchen knives over the years, old German carbon steal, new German stainless, and even a few rather nice Japanese Nakiri knives of the same price as the Global. Really, I feel like my life in the kitchen has been wasted all of those years since I brought this knife into my life. It is the only knife I use now. It's ergonomics allow for the finest garlic to boning out a chicken, and everything in between. It makes prepping feel like sculpting, and never a chore just to get food on the table after a long day at work. The edge keeps beautifully, the balance and weight is perfect, and tall blade almost gives it a cleaver feel. Thank God my kids are finishing college and I can give them all of my old knives, and my home kitchen can simply have the best.....
