This review is for Kooljewelry 14k Yellow Gold Filled 1mm Cable Chain Necklace.I got the 1mm chain and, well, 1mm is really, really narrow. It looks and feels flimsy, the gold plating does not cover some places on the base metal below. I doubt its durability and wonder how long before the plating lifts off or corrodes away. I suppose if you need a cheap chain and don't expect or need it to stay gold very long, this is for you. For the price, I didn't expect the highest quality chain. Since this is a new item, I did expect the gold plating would at least cover the entire chain and clasp. Buyer beware.

If you are looking for something to hold a pendant, this will do a good job. The one I got was 20 in. and 1.5mm which wasn't super thin or short and is light weight. Works just fine to hold up most pendants. I think this one costed me like $20 so not too bad. But I did run into some things I didn't like about it either. While it matched my 14k pendant well enough, the yellow was a little pale in comparison. And this chain doesn't catch the light or shimmer at all if that's what you are looking for (I was hoping for that). The links themselves don't feel well crafted and thin but from afar you wouldn't really notice. It's gold filled so it should be able to be worn in the shower, but I probably won't because I don't wear jewelry much anyway. If it stays the same color, I'll go up a star and if it tarnishes, I will go down a star.Edit: I bought it again and it has minimal signs of wear. I recommend.

I had a necklace that looked like this one, with a heart pendant that my boyfriend gave to me. I accidentally broke it the other day, and I was looking for a substitute that would look like the one I had and could fit my little heart pendant. This worked! It looks very pretty and delicate.

I bought this chain for my cross charm, when my original chain broke and could not be fixed. It looks just like all of my other gold chains. I really like that you can get various lengths. I bought a spare one, in case one of my other gold chains break. I plan on buying more in different lengths.

Never take this off and it’s wears like gold.

Bought the 1mm - 22” gold necklace in August 5, 2020 and it arrived within a few days. It’s perfect for my mother’s locket. Had it for so long and needed the right length and chair type. Couldn’t be happier. Hoping it last!

Beautiful and delicate looking. Gold is just fine. I notice a comment saying it looked like brass. Mine is fine and matches my gold heart perfectly. I may be buying more now that I know how nice they are.

I got the 1.3 mm., and it is just perfect. 30 inches long so that I can wear my pendants over the sweaters now that it is winter time. Perfect in every way! I have ordered at least 3 different lengths so far, just easier to have more chains so that I can grab what I am going to wear for the day instead of always having to switch the chain out. They are definitely keepers!
