Really impressed with this blower. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and has plenty of power to clear grass and leaves quickly. Perfect for quick yard cleanups. Definitely worth.

This leaf blower is a beast ! Enough power to tackle any job and super light. weight. A shoulder strap could be helpful but does not detract from its performance. Good value for the money. Have used Milwaukee battery power blower and it worked well.but you need battery back ups. I was hesitant to switch to a power cord but I’m glad I did. Would recommend.

Every year, we get a lot of pine needles up on our roof, which then eventually washes down and plugs up our gutters. Cleaning gutters is a chore I seem to do way too often, so whatever I can do to lessen that job, I will not hesitate to do. Last year, I used a push broom to clean off needles so the gutters would be clear all winter, and the job took me about 90 minutes. Pine needles on a roof aren't the easiest thing to clean, for they have a tendency to stick to the shingles, and stick they sure do. Thinking that there must be an easier way to clean off those needles and that the less time spent up on a roof is definitely a plus for my health, I started looking into electric leaf blowers with the hopes that blowing off the needles would be quicker. . .and easier. We have a gas powered leaf blower, but that is so noisy, heavy, pollutes and doesn't seem to blow all that well, so I decided to try a corded one and found this. . . Upon my first test run. . .I have to say. . .this thing blows, and much more so than I had anticipated. Some reviewers said this leaf blower doesn't have much power. "Not much power??" I thought after turning it on. "Eh. . .this leaf blower has more blowing power than anything I've ever been exposed to," I further contemplated. In fact, when I tested this out in our garage, blowing out leaves dust and other particulate matter, I didn't even have to move from the back, just stood still and blew everything out the door, 28 feet in length. Maybe the people who stated that this lacks blowing power received a defective one. . .or, perhaps, were trying to blow something unreasonable, like boulders. Compared to our gas powered blower, this corded ones has three times the power and is quieter to boot (albeit still loud). I also tested this blowing leaves and pine needles in our yard, which it did quite effectively, for most part. The only thing it wouldn't blow were leaves and pine needles that were embedded below the top the grass, but I don't think any blower would be effective at blowing particulate matter like that. With embedded material on a lawn, the only thing that will work is old. . . fashioned. . .raking. As for the roof job. . . It worked better than expected. The job that took me 90 minutes with a broom, but only 25 minutes with this blower. The main concern was tripping on the cord and falling. . .which I did remain very mindful of the whole time. The last thing I want to do is test out my flying abilities. The 75 foot, 14 gauge extension cord I used was just right for the whole length of our house and attached garage. And being that the blower only weighs 6 lbs., carrying it up a ladder was easy to do. And for those of you who are wondering about what kind of extension cord you may need, your light-duty 16 gauge extension cord will suffice (don't go less than that or else cord will heat up too much). Sixteen gauge cords can be used for any equipment 12 amps or less (this blower is 12 amps) given that the distance is less than 50 feet. However, if you plan on going over that 50 feet, then you most certainly should use a 14 gauge medium-duty cord for this leaf blower like I did. And, of course, make sure the cord is rated for outside use. This is a very powerful leaf blower for the size and seemingly well built. It weighs only 6 lbs., but since it blows with such force (on high) it has a bit of recoil. So if you don't have a lot of arm and shoulder strength, it could be a little too much for you for prolonged jobs. But if you can handle it, it should succeed at whatever you need blowing, that is, as long as it is something reasonable. For me, It worked perfectly, better than what I had expected--five stars.

For the price, this blower is very good. I had a WORX blower and mulcher, previously, that worked well, but this blower does the one thing better. I do miss the mulcher, but not the extra weight. This stand-alone blower is about 3 pounds lighter and more powerful; though, the all-in-one had more precise airflow, for the few small spots that it was beneficial for me. The build quality is so-so on this blower. It lacks what we all appreciate in our tools and devices—that sharp snap and click and clean fit when putting the pieces together. The hose attaches to the body with an imperfect and never fully flush connection. It's not going to go anywhere—it does have a latch. The pieces are not as rugged and solid as my previous WORX all-in-one, but I can guess that's what helps reduce the weight. Speaking of, I had considered the WORX WG547, cordless blower, for the weight reduction and convenience of no cord, but I was concerned with loss of power, limited usage time, and higher cost. After using this WG520 for the first time, I do desire a lighter machine, but I think I would miss the extra power and limitless usage time. If budget was not an issue, I probably would've gone with the WG546—which is a step up from the cordless WG547 I was considering—with an extra battery; but that is 3-4 times the cost of this WG520. But even that blower could not match the power of this one. It's worth noting that that power comes from a large air intake on the back that can suck in loose clothing. Cost was the number one priority for me; so I was pleasantly surprised when I found that on this low-budget machine there are variable speeds, ranging between the low to high speeds. If cost is the number one priority for you as well, without having to lose too much power capability, I can easily recommend this WG520 WORX blower.

INITIAL REVIEW: Advertising: The blower looks exactly as it does in the photos (despite the cheesy photo shopped images). I do not have any special equipment to test the 600CFM claim, but it seems pretty powerful from what I've tested thus far. All the features, which I'll go into further detail below, are also exactly as described. Shipping & Item condition: Arrived on time in a large box and in good working condition with no damaging. Price: $45.93 - Pretty reasonable considering the competition can reach upwards of a few hundred dollars. Build Quality/Durability: This blower is made from durable hard plastics. It makes it pretty lightweight when you're holding it at your side and sweeping from side to side. The listing states that it's 6.4 pounds and it certainly feels about that weight. I was able to use it for 10-20 minutes and not experience any fatigue unless i was trying to lift it up. This is just an initial review, so time will tell if it will withstand multiple years of use. Performance: Holy cow does this thing blow! (and I mean that in the good way). There is quite a bit of force that is exerted. So much so, that it surprised me when I turned it on the first time and noticed the "kick" on my hand. It's somewhat loud, so I'd recommend wearing ear protection if you're going to be using it for long periods of time. That being said, I've owned vacuums and small blowers that have just about the same amount of loudness, so I'd place this on par. I'm glad that I opted for the corded version instead of the battery one. Sure the cords are annoying, but I feel that the battery wouldn't last long due to the output it requires. That being said, I don't have an overly huge lawn, so an extension cord works just fine for me. If you've got a much bigger area to cover, I would consider a gas-powered blower. I simply don't trust the battery-powered blowers would last long enough for you, and the cords could be quite the hassle if you're having to walk pretty far out. Design/Features: I like that the nozzle has a large opening rather than a small one. I feel like that does a better job and pushing the leaves and grass out of the way than one that has a more concentrated area (despite the fact that it would exert more force). I also use it to blow out the dust and dirt from my garage. That saves me a ton of time vs having to sweep and kick up dust everywhere. I haven't tried using it to dry my car yet, but I'd imagine that it would work pretty well for that application. A feature I love is the quick and easy dial that you can use to adjust the outputting force. Sometimes I want to blow it at maximum speed to get all the grass clippings off the driveway, and other times I want to simply clean off a chair or something light without having to lift it up into space. The cord retainer is a nice feature. Without it, I found myself accidentally unplugging my extension cord quite a bit. A small touch, but the handle is angled upward, so when you're holding your arm down in a relaxed position, the blower is angled in the opposite direction (downward) which is nice. I don't need to "push" the blower down at an angle, thus causing forearm strain. I don't use it, but I like that the nozzle can be removed for more compact storage if need-be. Lastly, I'd say that I honestly just plain like the way it looks. It's cool that you can see the turbine working through the transparent orange plastic area, and it has a nice color scheme and graphics. Overall: I'm pretty impressed thus far. This guy is cheap, light, and powerful. It's fun to use. So much so that I find myself looking for leaves to blow, or dirt to move out of the way just so I can spend more time with it. I would definitely recommend this blower if you have a small to average sized yard. 1-year UPDATE: I've had this leaf blower for over a year now, and it still performs fantastically. It makes quick work of my grass and leaf clippings and doesn't mess around. It's one of the better products in my lawn care maintenance line-up, so I still highly recommend!

This WORX WG520 12 Amp Turbine 600 Electric Leaf Blower is an excellent, and powerful product that does as advertised and completely blasts away whatever it's pointed at. I got this product mostly to use as a drying aid when washing my cars, but also to just to clear off the backyard patio and blow out the garage occasionally. For this use-case this product has been absolutely stellar. I 3D printed a smaller nozzle that has a more directed, concentrated flow of air for when I'm using this to dry off my car and it has worked much better than the standard long nozzle, I saw some for sale before deciding to DIY with my own 3D printer, and it was a great way to save some money and make this even more effective at car drying. The power this has at full speed is absolutely incredible, it almost feels like it's about to fly away and I have to really clamp down on gripping it. This isn't for the weak of heart, controlling this without banging it against your car will take some time to get used to especially if you aren't a frequent gym goer. This has worked for everything I've needed to use it for and the price was great as well for this level of performance. It may not be as portable as a cordless blower, but it is certainly far more powerful than any cordless blower I've used in the past. The one thing I'll mention is make sure you have a good heavy duty extension cord to power this, 12 awg would be ideal especially if you're using a longer extension cord, you certainly don't want to burn out the motor by starving this thing of power with a 16 awg cord or something like that. Overall, I'm very impressed by this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an insanely powerful blower, this thing is like holding on to a jet engine. 5/5 stars.

Received the blower as expected in a timely manner. Have only used it for one day but pleasantly surprised. It is heavier but easily outperforms my previous corded blower. This is a large, simple, seriously powerful blower. No vacuum attachments, bags, etc. IMO the power is similar to gas powered units. Mine had a variable speed control which is very nice and for the power level it is unexpectedly quiet. Only one possible con to note, it is a 12A motor so a good heavy gauge extension cord is needed, especially for long runs.

I have an old Craftsman that is not doing the job, so I was looking for something more powerful, but one that would not break the bank. I got this one "used" for about sixty bucks, so it's basically the price of a rental, given that I mostly use it in fall for collecting the foliage. You can immediately see what to expect just looking at the mouth of the blower: it's huge, compared to most other leaf blowers. And, indeed, it does have very high flow at great air speed, thus picking up leaves stuck in the grass, in crevasses, and tight spaces. You even have to be careful as it would also blow away the mulch cover from flower beds, and even small gravel from the walkways. As others have mentioned, the intake is not protected from all sorts of debris, so I decided to experiment (for the benefit of others), and added a screen (mosquito netting) to the grille, attaching it with cable ties and the screen's screws. So far - so good! It doesn't seem to reduce the airflow, and stops all leaves and flower fluff. Ultimately, the motor is still exposed (dust), and there's no way around that as nay further filtering would reduce the airflow and overheat the motor, but you can't expect some advanced fluid dynamic design solutions from a tool that costs seventy bucks. If there is one thing I wish they had solved in the intake design is the depth of the fins. Because of the very high airflow and the flat, shallow-finned intake grille, and because of how close you need to keep it to your body (it's not that light!), it would suck in anything, including your clothes. So, unless you want to wear Spanx, this would be an annoyance. Great tool, even if it fails after a year or two, it's cheap enough to buy another one. I highly recommended it.
